it’s not worth the price, but i do like it a whole lot. it’s a thing that is really really well designed and constructed. battery is great. the on-board mic is fine, this device was clearly made for use in conjunction with their field mic but it’s not necessary for casual use (the word casual is doing some real heavy lifting here lol) the main criticism i have is that the carrying case kinda sucks, i wish there were a hardshell option. all that being said, please know that this is the review of a pretty financially irresponsible person.

Reviews on Amazon and other sites don't do justice to the lack of quality control on the TP-7. My unit arrived in mint condition, but by the end of the first day, the rocker on the left side stopped working smoothly and instead got sticky/crunchy, and developed a loud click on one side when depressed. Then, on the second day, the on/off knob stopped working properly. It started grinding internally, became extremely difficult to turn off, and then got out of alignment and now feels very loose. I'm returning this and will not be exchanging it for a new one, as there are many other reported problems with these, and the manufacturer has not addressed very common issues like these and others in the years that the device has been out. For a few hundred dollars I would tolerate these issues simply because this is such a cool device, but for what you pay? Absolutely not worth it. No way, no how.

What in the world. Trust me guys, we are in music production and this device, yes it's pretty cool, but it is way too much money for what it does. There are other devices and software that can do the same thing for the fraction of the cost.. Don't know what Teenage Engineering is thinking on this one. Hard pass

Otrzymany egzemplarz miał problemy z rejestrowanym dźwiękiem. Pojawiał się miarowy trzask od koła taśmy. Piękny design, ale z kontrolą jakości coś nie jest ok.

Einfach cool, schick und eigentlich völlig unnötig, zumindest wenn man kein DJ oder Musiker ist. Ich nutze es als Notizbuch für Ideen und Projekte. Work in Style 😎

Top qualité mais il faut mettre à jour le firmware

La grabadora tiene un falso contacto en la perilla de volumen/ encendido y al buscar en linea es una falla un tanto común. La marca no contestó mi solicitud y para realizar la devolución con Amazon debo de pagar un envío de casi $2,000 pesos. Una lástima que un producto de ese rango de precio no tenga un estándar de calidad correspondiente

Ci ho girato intorno per mesi da quanto era stato presentato dalla Teenage Engineering ed alla fine ho fatto la pazzia di acquistarlo qui. Arrivato con Prime ben imballato, nella sua busta di nylon sigillata dove dentro si trova la confezione di plastica rigida che funge anche da custodia. Già com'è fatta quest'ultima si capisce la cura e la qualità del prodotto, è caro, vero, ma la qualità ed il design di un certo livello si pagano, Apple insegna... Tenerlo sul palmo della mano è una gioia per gli occhi, e vederlo registrare con la "bobina" che ruota al passare del tempo fa tornare indietro all'epoca dei registratori a nastro Tascam, tempi memorabili. Il funzionamento è intuitivo anche se il display è minuscolo, ma bellissimo, la qualità di registrazione con il microfono integrato è stupefacente, ma lo proverò anche con microfoni esterni ed in stereofonia. Riguardo le caratteristiche tecniche non mi dilungo perché in rete trovate di tutto e di più. Concludo dicendo che necessitate di un registratore piccolo e performante questo potrebbe essere quello definitivo, quindi se avete la possibilità, fate questa pazzia :-) Metto 4 stelle solo per riservarmi un giudizio sull'affidabilità nel tempo.
