Absolutely adorable crochet kit! This was about my 5th project and I would consider this a Beginner+/basic Intermediate level because of the attached limbs and stitched features. I started with a “W” brand beginner kit, then did the Cookie Box Mini Jelly Fish, a few octopuses that I found online and now Leo! He was more challenging than the true beginner projects, but with the videos and printed instructions, he came out adorable (although I accidentally made him look slightly angry with one of the spots above his eye lol)! I love the added sparkle disc behind the colored eyes that give more personality than basic black eyes. I did print out the pdf instructions from the site, I wish they were included in the tin. The videos are good, but it’d be helpful if they were broken into shorter segments. I had to try to fast forward and rewind to search for the part I was on. They do move fast at times, but it was easy enough to either slow the speed or replay parts. I wouldn’t recommend this for a complete beginner with no experience at all, but it is an awesome 3rd+ project. Comes with everything you need and the materials are good quality. The beginner yarn is a game changer! I did use my own crochet hook (Tulip Etimo Red 3.25), but the one that come with the kit is perfectly fine. I have some leftover yarn and stuffing, which is always reassuring as some people crochet looser than others (I tend to have tighter tension). For the price, you really can’t beat these kits, great value and fun! I can’t wait to try more of them. Highly recommend starting with a W Kit, then a Cookie Box Mini, then onto the round tin ones. Oh - the tin!!! Love it!!! Reminds me of my grandma’s round blue cookie tin that held all her sewing supplies when I was a kid. I’ll be using this for many years to come.

I bought this kit to learn to crochet. The kit is nicely packaged, materials are high quality, & the video instructions were easy to follow! I had so much fun making Hugo that I bought a few more to make. Highly recommend! Great for relaxation and learning a new hobby. Also, the cute tin he came in is an added bonus.

Fun little kit. It's well made with reasonable/clear instructions. It only took about 60-90 mins to make (I crochet daily, and am quick at my work according to others). The only thing not included in this little tin are nippers or scissors, so pack those if you're planning on taking this on a road trip. You have an option of swapping out the eye color blue or silver, we kept the blue eyes. I would have preferred a bent tapestry needle for sewing, but it's a personal preference and the metal needle is a nice quality. The 3mm hook is comfortable, and works well with this type of yarn, I personally prefer a different hook head(Bates inline vs the Boyle hook head in this kit) but it was a good option in the kit and has a nice silicone type grip handle, which helps with hand fatigue. It's not the absolute best, but it's very good. There was ample yarn for making this toy, it feels nice and my child loves how it's turned out! We opted for the stomach to not have the belly patch on it as it looked adorable without that additional piece that I had already crochet. If you're looking for a cute kit that's well made and are able to use only a QR code download of the instructions to either save and or print off, (and or use the video instructions) this is a nice option. We also have the turtle and leopard kit as well as we got them buy three for the price of two deal.

[Disclaimer: Since I have some experience making amigurumi, I did not watch any of the videos that came with this kit.] The kit was complete with everything I needed, although I do think that the hook provided (2.5mm) was a bit too small for the tube yarn provided. The yarn was soft enough to work with, but the resulting crocheted pieces seemed to be rather stiff, making it a bit difficult to shape and pose the final bear. The written pattern instructions were clearly written and complete. This kit is priced a little too highly for the resulting product, although the toy did turn out cute.

I bought all 6 of these kits for my adult daughter who has been wanting to learn how to crochet but I am a terrible teacher. She was able to make 2 of them right away and fell in love and has now caught the crochet bug and is eagerly looking forward to making the next 4. She said the video instructions are excellent and easy to follow and has fallen in love with amigarumi. I am so very proud of her, and would highly recommend these kits for anyone, no matter the age, who wants to learn crochet. Oh and the tins the kits come in are so cute!

Cute kit that comes with everything you need. But hands-down, not easy or beginner. Videos provided don’t do a good job explaining. Had to search on YouTube for better options. Everything that comes with the kit is quality. Having the container it comes in for storage is great. Just do not purchase this thinking it will be easy or a beginner choice.

Cute and good for beginners! I watched the videos and found them easy to follow and helpful because she shows all the different stitches and steps. The yarn is smooth and the crochet hook is good quality. The price seems fair given the materials provided and the detailed instructions. I would recommend this jellyfish!

This kit has been so much fun! It includes literally everything you could need and the tin itself is so cute. The video tutorial is perfect for newbies and doubles as a great intro to crocheting in general! There is also a pdf with written instructions which may be easier for experienced customers. The yarn is easy to work with and great for amigurumi projects. No complaints!

This is the first thing I ever managed to crochet, instruction video on YouTube you can follow was really helpful, the yarn is easy to use for beginners and it comes with everything you need. Great value for money. Very happy.

Das Häkelset ist wirklich toll. Es hat alles was man braucht um direkt loszulegen! Leider ist die Anleitung auf englisch, allerdings ist es mir durch das Video-Tutorial gelungen, ein super Plüschi zu häkeln als total blutiger Anfänger, ohne jegliche vorherige Häkel-Erfahrung. Sie hat mir auch den Start in die Häkel-Welt deutlich erleichtert. Denn nun bin ich auch in der Lage Muster und Anleitungen aus dem Internet zu lesen. Das wird nicht meine letzte Cookie Box sein!

Kit perfetto!bellissimo kit per fare il mio primo amigurumi.Filato molto bello sia nei colori che nella resistenza,ottimo per chi come me è alle prime armi.Benissimo la possibilità di vedere attraverso il QR code i video e di poter regolare la velocità del video in modo da ripassare più volte quello che si è visto.urcinetto ergonomico molto comodo,occhi bellissimi e grandi che rendono il tartarughino adorabile. Se devo trovare una nota negativa è che tutto, il tutorial,il manuale da scaricare siano solo in inglese,ma cmq piano piano si capisce.Rispetto ad altri kit questo è molto bello semplice completo.

This was the perfect product to learn from!! Very first time crocheting and it came out pretty cute. I love that there’s video instructions and that it’s available for lefties and righties. I’m personally right handed, but my sister is left handed and I’ll be purchasing this for her to learn too!! Great product!!! Cannot recommend this enough
