Digital Security Timer Plug Socket Programmable Light Switch Timer with Random Mode for Home and Indoor

I bought this in one of the amazon sales and it arrived quickly in a pack of two. One worked perfectly, and was easy to set up. Unfortunately the other timer had a glitch and didn't turn on automatically. Having read the previous reviews I thought I'd try contacting the seller directly (as on a previous review [email protected]), and ask for help before sending them both back.The seller was amazingly helpful, easy to contact via email and hassle free.The timers are easy to set up, and have 10 different 'on' and 'off' times to use. This is more than enough, as you can select the days if the week individually, or in different patterns such as mon-fri, or m,w,f etc. I use this attached to a light to come on when I'm away, and so can set the on off times to vary, which I think is much better.Great product - when it works- made even better by the helpfulness of the seller.

I am really impressed with these timers. The BEST feature is that they got an internal rechargeable battery back up so you can program them standing up instead of lying flat on the floor in front of the outlet socket, and they don't forget your program if there's a powercut. The programming is pretty straight forward and there's a good set of combinations of days. I have still to check if the devices themselves have any power consumption because I bought them to save money by switching things off at night and the weekend when I'm not using them.

Used (internally) to regulate my external Christmas lights. Good load capability at 3kW, too. Very easy to program if you're used to digital devices.Arrived charged and ready to program. If no display, stick 'em in any socket for a few hours to charge (also features an embedded back-up battery so you don't lose your preprogrammed times). The easiest way to clear your time programs is to reset the timer.The timer works on a continuous 7 day cycle, allowing 10 simultaneous timer programs. All so very simple and reliable! These devices, only a little more expensive than the fiddly mechanical timers I replaced, are the badger's nadgers. Well worth the expense and they appear to be sturdy and well-built. Strongly recommended.

I bought these to replace two old mechanical programmers. I found the instructions and the controls on the devices quite easy to follow. It is, as the guide says, important to read the instructions before jumping in but I only needed to read the very logical guide once to understand how it all works. Once understood it seems quite easy and logical to work out how to change the programs when you need to. It is very useful to be able to set up times etc with the device unplugged and using its internal battery. I found it difficult to insert a plug into one of the timers but fixed this with a squirt of WD40. They have only been in use for less than a day so far and completed a couple of switch cycles so if there are future problems I will update this.

The product is very easy to use and even easier to program. The supplier, Novkit, does its best to ensure that support is available, should it be needed - even offering to send a program of keystrokes to program the functions needed. More importantly, Novkit works hard to resolve any product failure or faults. In my case, replacing a single faulty unit out of four supplied, with four new ones, using a very imaginative and effective solution. This company tries VERY hard indeed to get it right.

these are great for me as I wanted to limit the internet access for our teenager. once you've finished setup it does swutch off the time you've put in and switch it on at the time choosen. same with the night lamp we use, I don't need to jump to switch it on and switch off late morning as I do wake up after 9am

So I got home to find the time smoking and about to catch fire , luckily I got home when I did , dog was at home to , only use this product for 3 months, only even on for 1-2 hours at a time to maintain temperature in the house . Burnt and melted, don’t risk itOnly had the heater plugged in , nothing else,

I've tried the boiler clock style and the digital versions with small buttons and frustrating brain teaser menus but these are brilliant. They have a big readable display and an intuitive menu. Spend five minutes with the instructions and you will always remember how to operate. No more rushing out the door for that long weekend and thinking, "I really haven't got time to work out that timer again!" With the boiler clock style I could never remember whether "in" was on or "out" was on. Daylight saving? Easy! The display shows "Summer" and its easy to toggle off. Worth every penny.
