NEW, 12-Inch Long Stainless Steel Skewers, Barbecue Skewers, BBQ Skewers, Shish Kebab Kabob Skewers, Ring-Tip Handle, 1-Dozen

These are nice quality stainless skewers. I was pleasantly surprised when I received them in the mail. They are plenty sturdy are the tips are nice and sharp. I only have one small complaint and that is that they are not as long as the skewers I used to have. I had a nice set of skewers but when my kids moved out of the house years ago, they absconded with my all but one of my skewers. These skewers are a similar weight but are about an inch shorter. However, they are still an excellent buy and I can't believe I now have a set of a dozen for such a low price. I paid much more for my old ones and these weigh the same and are just as sturdy. I will enjoy using them. And this time, I will guard them when my kids come to visit and we have shishkebab, lol!

My daughter and her husband were up here a few weeks ago and we decided to grill some kebobs using shrimp and veggies. We had several bamboo skewers here at the house and soaked them for an hour or so before using them. We had a terrible time with the bamboo skewers because they burned through which made it hard to turn them keep each kebob in one piece. Hence my search for something better.These looked perfect so I ordered them and they are perfect. Being metal, they don't burn on the grill. They are also shaped like an oval and hence, the food on the kebob does not turn at the same time you turn the skewer to even the heat on your food items.You can leave the loops on the one end sticking outside the grill top, so you could actually turn the kebob without raising the grill lid. At least you can turn it without having to put your hand into the heat of the fire.These are great and I would buy them again.

I chose these due to incredibly good price. They worked well. Easy cleaning, etc. I would probably go next time for a set with wooden ends to hold as these got extremely hot, and even through mits it was tough. However i knew that going in so no fault to item or seller. I will use thede again until i purchase some at higher price

Prompt shipping. Skewers work well, but be warned...they get very hot on the grill! We were accustomed to using wood/bamboo skewers and decided to change to these stainless steel ones. (We wanted to avoid the non-stick coated ones.) While it sounds like a no-brainer that stainless steel would get hot, when you're used to picking up wood skewers to turn your food over for even grilling and, without thinking, you try doing that with these, you will get burned. A regular pot-holder was too thick to use over the barbecue to turn them, so we ended up using a metal spatula and an extra skewer to successfully turn them over. We were concerned about serving our kabobs on these skewers to our family due to their being hot, but they do cool quickly once they are off the grill. They clean up well if the food is wiped off of them before they go in the dishwasher.

These seem well made but I'm not crazy about the design... my old skewers were twisted (the metal part that goes through the meat or vegetables) and they held the contents a lot better. Also, the tip of these is enlarged which seems like it'd help hold things on better but in fact it makes a larger hole into the meat and then it's not on as securely. Delivery was prompt, I can't fault the seller and the product seems it'll last but just not crazy on the design since I've had better.
