This fit my Kitchenaid commercial 8 quart mixer better than the one that came with it. Although it is not stamped NSF, it is as well made if not better than the kitchen aid whip. One of the wires is loose on the kitchen aid one I have. I use my mixer mostly to whip, so I bought this cheaper one as a back up in case the OEM one breaks. I like this one better and use it instead of the OEM one. The whip that came with the 8qt mixer is is elliptical. This one is round and wider so it gets closer to the bowl. I only have to scrape down the sides and bottom of the bowl once instead of several times as with the elliptical whip , so this one saves time.

This is the second whip attachment we are buying (the first came with the mixer) because the wires tend to pull out after a few uses. We hope that this one will last longer despite being exactly the same as the old one. The factory should seek another solution instead of the current crimping system - welding with inox?

I love how this helps my KA not work overtime. So easy to whip up anything...pun intended..lol.

Searching in vain for a replacement whip for my Viking 7 quart whip attachment - replacement parts cannot be found anywhere. This whip did not fit. I should have bought a Kitchen Aid mixer instead of this Viking mixer. The Viking mixer company is out of business and no one on the globe knows where to find this part. Crazy. And whatever happened to the section on Amazon where you could ask questions? Cannot find that anywhere.
