Maxxi designs 16x20 framed art - Capistrano seaweed #2 Saudi Blue in a hand-applied Silver leaf frame - pulled by hand from the churning brine, the varying shape and structure of these specimens reflect the limitless, undulating totality of the sea. These are the hard-won prizes of Mid-Century botanist William Henry Harvey. These Seaweeds were originally taken from a collection published by Harvey in 1903. It was a work that was created to further the understanding of different species of Seaweeds that surrounded the English Islands. Series of 12 prints with a choice of two different frame options.
