These plates are great, but I didn’t realize you could not put them in the microwave before I purchased them. We kept them because that was my mistake. Very pretty and colorful. They do scratch easily if you use a very sharp knife, cutting your food on them.

Trying to find good looking, quality melamine dinnerware that doesn't cost a fortune is impossible. I finally found this set and while it was more than I wanted to spend, I thought what the heck, I'll give it a shot. Super glad I did. This is THICK and STURDY. And... looks really really good. I'm gonna order another set actually. It's much thicker than I thought it would be and washes easily without scratching. I looked at more on Smileamazon which were cheaper, but the patterns on the front just don't look nearly as nice as this set. THIS is a super high quality dinnerware set that didn't cost me an arm and a leg. Though I bought it for outdoor use, I can see me replacing my china plates because this really looks so good. Love it.

We bought these dinnerware sets for our meals outdoors. The colors are vivid and the patterns are concise, without a bleeder look. I was a little disappointed that the pattern in the bowls overlapped. The pattern is a paper that lines the inside in the manufacturing. Some bowls were not as smooth as the plates due to the curving of the paper. I doubt this will effect the usage. The dishes are a good quality. The did not feel flimsy and the finish is shiny such as ceramic dishes. Over all I am pleased and have bought a few sets to entertain.

These are absolutely beautiful! A wonderful pop of color at the beach house for guests to enjoy a nice meal. Cleanup is easy due to the light weight nature of the dishes…no more chips! Love them!

Good quality

I bought these dishes because they were very pretty and i could use them everyday or for special occasions. But once i received them I was disappointed that they cannot be used in the microwave. That limits the use if you have to walk away from your food and it gets cold. The dishes are strong enough to stand dropping, easy to wash, no food stains so far, and will look very pretty in your cabinet or open shelving.

The quality of the finish of some of the items was poor. It looked like there was not quality control check. For example, pattern colours ran into one another during production, patterns off centre, rough surface on one dinner plate. Not worth the price, but amazon customer service was fast and efficient and arranged a refund.

The plates have a plastic field to them Rather than porcelain, but they are absolutely gorgeous and perfect for what I wanted. I just love the happy pop of color. It gives my kitchen. It gives kind of a Spanish/Boho summer vibe. I read that you can’t use these plates and bowls in the microwave but I don’t have a problem with that personally because I have glass bowls and containers that I can use if I need to use a microwave to heat things up. I think anyone that purchases this set would be very happy with it.

They are very pretty but disappointing that 2 of the bowls are cracked..

My kitchen is full of ceramic dishware but ever since my adult son moved back in (divorce), they have all gotten chipped or broken. Plus every weekend the grandkids are over and kids will be kids. These melamine dishes are a nice compromise between looks and durability.
