Bought my first sandwich stasher bag about a year ago. After discovering all the ways to use it, how versatile it is, I was excited to use up the rest of my disposable sandwich bags and just use stasher. Since then I bought another sandwich one and recently added this one to my collection so that I can freeze the homemade naan we make. These bags are great. you can microwave them, stick them in the oven, boil with them. stick them in the freezer and they are dishwasher safe. They are the new superhero in the kitchen. *bonus: I also use these bags to hold my toiletries when traveling in my pack. there handy to put all your liquids in at the airport too. They are a bit pricey, but what you are paying for is good quality. they are not flimsy and they hold up. Not to mention that they seal wonderfully and I have never had a leakage issue or any issues with the bags.

I have absolutely grown to love these storage bags. They are very easy to clean & dry. Plus, they store flat. I leave my bags propped open for a day or two. I usually hang them on a silicone spatula in a heavy jar. Careful... they are heavy enough to cause a lighter jar to tip over. The seal is really great. Try not to get any seeds or grains in the seal, as they’re hard to remove once you’re ready to wash them.

Easy to open, easy to close. Bought this and some from another company and this has much thicker material than the other and the closure is smoother. Perfect size for marinating, does stain though. Still would recommend as an excellent replacement for disposable plastic bags.

The 1/2 gallon stasher bag is surprisingly large and very versatile, especially when I'm trying to store leftovers. I like that you can put them in the dishwasher because I can use the bag to marinate raw meat overnight in the refrigerator and still disinfect it thoroughly when I'm done. I always feel like when I am handwashing a reusable bag, I'm not able to get all of the crevices clean so being dishwasher safe is important to me. The bags zip closed very easily, but I always have trouble getting them open again. I'm not known for being coordinated, so I'm just going to assume that it's user error.

I must have a dozen of these 1/2 gallon bags which I use for the freezer and boiling veggies. They are a great size without being too small or too big. I cut up a whole chicken and fit all the pieces in one bag. They stand up well in the freezer, no flopping over and no frost. It's a great food storage bag! Highly recommend.

I have been using Stasher's for a year now and I love them. They seal great (air tight), as a matter of fact sometimes I have a hard time opening them. They was up easily and are so durable and do not hold smells from items that have been stored in them. I have bought all sizes and use them everyday. Items freeze well in them and I use them to steam my vegetables in the microwave (just leave it open and the vegetables will use their own moisture to steam themselves). I use them while traveling to hold my toiletries, makeup, and pills. I have taken items that were in these bags from the freezer and put it right into a pot of boiling water and they are in great conditions. You can do so much with these bags and because of these bags I am down by 90% in the amount of plastic that I use. I like that.

I have used this bag for storage, travel and sous-vide so far. It’s very sturdy and worked wonderfully for packing shampoo for a flight. I can store most vegetables in it (a bunch of carrots fits in there perfectly). Although I used it for sous-vide and would do so again in a pinch it was too thick to be a perfect solution to plastic-free cooking. It’s impossible to get much air out and the thickness of the silicon means it takes a bit longer to heat the contents, but it’s still a nice way to avoid plastic while cooking the perfect steak. It was easy to wash and dries quickly. If these are on sale they are a great bargain.
