The best Nena
The first 4 albums by the group. Excellent music in all aspects. The 5th CD is solo Nena and though not to my taste is ok. All in German. There is an international album (not here) in English for who prefer .

Nice album compilation
I just rediscovered Nena via youtube. I forgot how much I enjoyed the music. I wanted to get some of her music that was not played in the US much during the 80's. I really enjoy the melodies of her music. Granted I can't understand the German language but, I can appreciate good music when I hear it. There are some English language songs on these albums which is a bonus for me. You can't go wrong with the price either.

Not for everyone
Like a lot of folks who were teens in the 70s and 80s I loved 99 Red Baloons. These five albums are the German groups home releases and are all in German, but even if you don't speak the language, the music is good and has a fun pop beat to it. If you're the type who insists on understanding the words, and you don't speak German, then this set isn't for you, but if you're a fan on a budget this is a great buy (I like the Original Album Classics in general for that very reason).

German alternative pop at its best
This is a great value, 5 early albums in one set. Not a rearranged set, but the original classic albums. Nena was and is one of the best alternative pop bands and Nena (Gabriele Kerner) has a great distinct voice. If you like alternative music from the 1980s this is a must have.

Nena has a very beautiful voice and whether you know German or not she is a joy to listen to. With 5 CD's it is a bargain.

Love Nena,"?" is one of my favorite albums.All five five albums sound great.My one and only gripe is that because it has been remastered from the original German release the english version of 99 Red Ballons is missing from the first album.
