This is my favorite eyeliner! It’s smooth and pigmented, easy to use, affordable, and pretty! Love the n4 color I’ve been using. Easy to smudge out and smoke it a bit, but also stays in place for a long time. 5 stars!

This is my current favorite eyeliner pencil. I can put it on in the morning and not worry about it smudging for hours. It works really well to tightline, which is something I had struggled with until I got this pencil. I dropped it on the tile floor in my bathroom and the lead didn't break, so that's a bonus.

Listen, if there’s one eyeliner I can’t live without, it’s this little gem right here—the CLIO Sharp So Simple Waterproof Pencil Liner. I’ve been using it for years, and every time I try something new, I always come running back. I love a crisp, defined eye, especially in my waterline, but I also like a soft, smudgy edge that gives that effortless, sultry look. A brush liner? Too harsh and way too high-stakes—I don’t have the patience for perfection on the first try! But this pencil? It’s the perfect balance of precision and forgiveness. Is it totally budge-proof for 12 hours straight? Not quite, but with my oily lids (even with primer), I can get a solid 7 AM to 2 PM wear time before I need a quick refresh. And for me, that’s impressive. Plus, if you use eyelid tape, this liner actually adheres well and still pops—though, fair warning, it’s a little less forgiving on tape if you make a mistake. The deep black shade is rich and bold, absolutely perfect for tight-lining my upper lashes. But my secret sauce? I layer it! Black on the waterline, dark brown above it, and then another soft brown on top—it gives the eyes such a dimensional, polished look. I do wish they had a shade between black and dark brown, but honestly, the formula and smooth application keep me hooked. One thing to note: this liner sometimes goes out of stock on Amazon, so if you see it available and you’re running low, order a batch! Nothing’s worse than scrambling for a replacement and having to settle for something that just doesn’t measure up. Whenever I’m in Asia, I stock up like crazy because I refuse to be without it. Long story short: if you love an eyeliner that’s sleek, smooth, and easy to work with while still staying put, this is THE ONE. I’ll be using it for years to come!

The product is NOT consistently good. Sometimes the pencil lead is too greasy or something and it doesn't go on. I throw it away and have to buy another. Soon I will find a replacement.

-Glides on well and smoothly and yet doesn't smudge everywhere after many hours -the fine point is finer than some other liners I have, which is great if you like to do a more delicate or sharp wing -Color is great, very pigmented and a nice rich neutral dark brown-black

It's very thin and easy to use, but also easy to break too.

Mute Gray is the perfect soft liner color I’ve been looking for. It’s a gray-heavy taupe, and even though I have very light skin and black lashes, this is a much more natural, soft, look than gray or brown. If I use a light hand it works for a ‘no makeup’ look for me. Also, I can use this on my lower lashline without it looking overdone, even if I’m using dark upper liner.

Very creamy, easy to apply and does not smudge.
