I'd give the book itself 2 stars honestly. Even for the 1800s it is an absolute chore to read, and that's coming from someone who loves Jane Austen's work. Wordy doesn't even begin to describe this work. Emily Bronte spends 2 - 3 paragraphs or more explaining the simplest nonsense, dragging out the most benign details. Calling it purple prose would be a gross understatement. It feels like the woman had a thesaurus on her lap while writing. Sorry Emily. :( I just can't wrap my head around why this story is so beloved. I wanted to enjoy it so bad! But reading it gave me a migraine. Anyway, the physical product I ordered here was good quality, and the gilded edges are very pretty. I'll be choosing this format for several other classics in the future, for sure.

Exactly The Same
The gold dust on the pages sticks a little. The hardcover is nice and heavy. I did receive the product incorrectly the first time around so I had to order another one and this time it was send correctly.
