I love this splitter. I have it hooked up to my commercial embroidery machine to upload designs without wifi or flash drives and the other goes to the computer and it’s been working perfectly with no issues at all and no lag to the computer. Price is decent for what it does. Appearance is a little bulkier than I expected but thats just me being picky. Setup was simple, and it does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Reliable and convenient definitely a solid buy.

Worked for all of 2 months before the speed became literally unusable (0.18Mbps). Tested individual lines, and they were fine. Tested with another switch too and internet was fine. Only this one. I thought it would be decent because it was cheap, but of course, not. Edit: They gave me a refund, even 2 months later, and well outside the return period. Upgraded to 4 stars.

I got this splitter because i wanted to use a Cat5e Ethernet cable for my pc instead of the Cat6 cable because I prefer Cat5e better than Cat6 i have a Cat6 cable because it's an outdoor 75ft cable the Cat5e cable i am using is a 4.5ft cable i get about 900mbps download and 40mbps upload on speedtest.net on Google Speed Test i get about 500mbps download and 7mbps upload will buy from again

Using splitter for providing ethernet signal to PC and to TV via Firestick Ethernet Adapter. All is well with PC regardless of which LAN output I use LAN1 or LAN2. Green light glows according to the LAN output used. I've used 4 different Cat6 ethernet cables for the TV/Firestick Ethernet Adapter and get no signal output to the TV and no light at the splitter. I've tried 2 different Firestick Ethernet Adapters with the same negative result. The only variable is distance - 40' to the PC and 75' to the TV. Is distance a factor? I would think not. What am I missing? Given my experience, I can only give the splitter a 2 rating. Update: Manufacturer reached out and explained that their switch/splitter does not support the Firestick Ethernet Adapter (only PCs) and provided me a refund. I have since found one (NETGEAR) that does support the Firestick Ethernet Adapter as well as my PC, which works great. I am upgrading my original rating since (1) the original switch did support my PC and (2) the manufacturing reached out and provided the refund.
