Good replacement for the real thing if you can't locate fresh. Just make sure to: (1) split the leaves at the stem's seam and discard same; (2) Hydrate in cool water for 30 mins before you use. They add the perfect lime leaf flavor needed in a Thai Panang curry-based dish.

My Thai dishes were definitely missing this flavor element. I cannot get fresh where I live. The color and aroma are great, as is the lime flavor. I had difficulty getting them soft enough, so they were a bit chewy in my dish. I tried to "stew" them for quite a while, but I just couldn't get the texture quite the way it would be with fresh. Still, a great product.

I was thrilled to find these online! Living in a small town, the nearest Asian market is over two hours away, and even then, they haven’t had kaffir lime leaves in stock during my last few visits. I absolutely love the unique flavor these leaves bring to dishes, and I couldn’t wait to try them. They did not disappoint! I made coconut rice last night, and the incredible aroma when I lifted the lid truly warmed my soul. I only wish I had discovered these sooner. The generous amount in the package will last me for several months and will let me cook Thai food more often. Highly recommend!

I make a lot of Asian dishes and sometimes I need the leaves to add to the dish and finding them in a store is nearly impossible so I ordered these because they are very handy and fragrant,. I would recommend you keep them in the package they came in to preserve the lime fragrance.
