Needed this all summer as the kids learned to ride bikes this year. This came in useful. It is easy to use even for me a woman. It took little strength to pump up the tires fully. This is simple and even the kids learned to use it by the end of the summer. Would highly recommend this product.

I got this for pumping up sports balls and it works very well for that. I am not sure it is quite double quick as it emits less air on the back stroke than the forward stroke, but it still works faster than the single pumps I have. It is nice that this comes with extra ball pins and adapters for inflatables.

It works okay for pumping up a football or basketball. But the "double action" is very optimistic. The pump pressure on the reverse stroke is nil. It really only pumps any kind of useful pressure on the downward stroke. So it is no different than a single-action pump. If you were hoping to use this to pump up bike tires, forget it. As others have noted, there is no depression pin in the hose or any of the attachments, so it will not be able to open a standard Schrader valve on a bike tire. And even if it could, there is no way this pump could manage 50-60 lbs (or more) that typical bike tires need. Maybe a child's bike tire, or a low pressure "beach cruiser" tire that only requires 30 lbs, could be inflated, but that's about it. Finally, it has a very cheap feel to it, and part of the housing near the end with the pump handle was already cracked off when we got it. That did not affect any air seal or passages, so we just kept it. I would look for something better made, with a Schrader valve fitting, and hopefully made of metal or a much stronger heavier plastic.

Great for balls. But will NOT work for bike tires. I have both presta and schrader bike tubes and neither will work because this pump misses one key part...that tiny little pin in the middle of the hose that will press into the tire valve...its just not there. Its simply a vacant hollow tube, which is fine for balls, but not for bikes with a valve. So if youre just looking for a ball pump, This actually works quite well. A+. But gets an F for bikes. Which is unfortunate because a dual-purpose pump would be much better.

We accidentally ordered this because we thought it could inflate bike tires. Although this is not the pump for that, it actually works really well to air up our air mattresses and balls. I like the slim profile of the pump with the integrated handle. Fits into any bag.
