This was a great gift! It has a camera for pics and videos. It is probably best for older kids around 8 or older. I bought it for my 6 yr old and he loved it but he had trouble figuring out how to focus it. We are def in love with it and will keep it for future use!! Super cool!!!

This microscope works well, and we’ve had a lot of fun looking at all kinds of things. The only drawback is that the whole thing came smelling like cigarette smoke. It was sealed in the package, so the people packaging this thing must have been smoking like chimneys. The box, carrying case, and strap reek so bad it takes your breath away.

Great microscope! You can see so much detail and kids and adults can play with it.

Was not told it needed slides!!

My 9 year old immediately ran around looking at various materials, leaves, water from plant saucers. A tool/toy that encourages an interest in science, with a closer look. It has great features- superior magnification, photo option accompanying slides.

I looked at lots of microscope options for my 9 year old grandson before selecting this one. It’s portable so he can study nature close up, is easy to operate and has the big advantage of being able to take both pictures and videos to upload. I think it is good value for a mid level microscope

This is not 1000x ! it doesn't reach 10X and also not 4k !
