Quick - it works in transmitter mode, comes with useful cables that are long enough, and the display screen is very helpful. Doesn't come with a charging block (but what does nowadays). I haven't tried in RX mode so can't speak to that. Detailed - I tried 3 other options before this transmitter and they weren't great. Some issues I had with the other options that I found on amazon - latency or audio lag, blind device connection, lacking connection cables, requiring charging/ not powered, not reconnecting or remembering the same device when it's powered back on, really bright distracting indicator lights, and disconnecting at short distances. This one works and doesn't have any of those issues. The screen is key and makes it so much easier to pair with devices and check volume and status. If you press the play/pause button you can mute your device, but using the controls on your headset work fine too. It came with various connecting cables. I used the optical as I wanted to use bluetooth headphones to connect and listen to tv audio. I've not tried to use it in receiver mode. I have experienced zero audio lag. It remembers the devices that I've connected it to after it's been powered off. Has distinct separate buttons that make it more usable. I've had clear connection about 25 feet away (unobstructed). Only negative for me is that it does not auto-shut off when not in use and the volume light is always on.

Easy to install, works exactly the way I wanted. The tiny speakers in my bedroom TV were difficult for me to hear and when I turned up the volume to near maximum There was often distortion. Since I primarily watch You Tube this made the information hard to understand and annoying to listen to. This TV lacked Bluetooth and I didn't want to hardwire any extra speakers across the room. I installed this unit as a BT transmitter, and paired it to a wireless speaker above my headboard. (see separate review of speaker I used.) I had to turn off built in TV speakers in TV's native setup as there was the annoying distortion and slight latency from the wireless speaker. I used the usb output on the TV to power this unit and was pleasantly surprised to see it turned off the power to this unit when the TV was turned off. The transmitter 4retained the speaker pairing when the TV was turned back on.

Tried to pair with Air Pod Max, Air Por Pro, JBL Tune Buds. Will not find anything. Big waste of my time.

As I transmitter device it works great. It easily connects to my hearing aids, and it sounds great. I'm using a simple audio jack cable running through a switch box so I can pick either the BT device or the sound bar.

The product works, it's just that the display is defective. I can't tell, by looking at the display, what mode I'm in and I can't tell whether or not a device is connected. I have to just guess what mode it's in and actually have to listen to the device I'm trying to connect to and see if any sound is coming through and if sound is coming through, that means it's working. But, I can't look at the display and tell if anything is connected.

I have an older flat-screen TV! With no BT capability! I want to hear my TV stuff in the garage. I use a Bose SoundLink Mini. Works perfectly... How Sweet It Is

I'm giving this item two stars only because it was easy to set up. Otherwise it would be just one star. I purchased this unit because of the size and price. Needed a smaller Bluetooth transmitter for travel. Disconnected my old working Bluetooth transmitter and connected new unit to the same connections. Easy. New unit came on, found and connected to my 5.3 headset. Easy. No sound! Disconnected and reconnected unit but still no sound. Disconnected new unit and reconnected old unit. Sound. Looks like I will need to get a larger, more expensive transmitter. UPDATE: Operator Error. I realized my new Sony 5.3 headphones were not Low Latency. A must if I wanted to make a correct connection to this transmitter. So I purchased headphones with Low Latency, and the transmitter operates as advertised. Changing my rating to five stars.

Heb deze nu een aantal maanden in bezit, aangesloten op tv met bluetooth 5.3 koptelefoon (JLab met noice canceling) en werkt gewoon perfect. Snelle verbinding, geluid is echt goed. Ik gebruik het gewoon voor tv en niet voor films of gamen. Ik zou het zeker aanraden..

Muy bueno , se conecta muy bien y no va con retraso ya que va conectado con cable óptico RC ,muy buena conectividad con mis auriculares bluetooth ,se oye mejor que en el cine.

Wahnsinn,. Total selbsterklärend und einfach. Ich hab wirklich innerhalb von wenigen Sekunden das Ding angeschlossen bekommen. Und ich bin eigentlich technisch nicht immer versiert. Und es hat sofort geklappt, er sowohl mit meinen EarPods als auch mit meinen Sportkopfhörern von soubdcore zu connecten. Beide Kanäle direkt belegt, alles funktioniert einwandfrei. Ton klingt gut. Ich bin begeistert! Man muss wirklich nur auf einen Knopf drücken, dann sucht er die Geräte in der Umgebung. Die müssen natürlich im Paring Modus sein, aber es war unfassbar, wie schnell das ging.
