Great taste

The people at Labrada had no idea how much of a blessing they were to me! I am a Bariatric patient at UNC Hospital and part of the program is to consume 60 to 80 grams of protein per day, low to no carbs, low to no sugars, eat very tiny meals every three hours, drink like a gallon of water. I'm not here to promote the UNC Bariatric Program, although it is great, but I HAD to write a review about Labrada Lean Body Protein Shakes; they are a bariactic patient's dream! Some people feel that when they enter into the program, they have to settle on a source of protein that either they don't enjoy consuming or that makes them want to go without eating because it tastes so bad. Well, I'm a living witness that you don't have to deprive yourself of taste and fun when drink these protein shakes. They come in Ready To Drink form and in powder form..I'm lazy so I opted to purchase the RTD. Some protein shakes under UNC's program, were just...YUCK! And there were one or two, that tasted better and other bariatric patient's were on YouTube singing their praises. But still, when I tried them, they tasted just okay; there was still something missing, so I kept searching. Finally, I decided to think OUTSIDE the "bariatric box" and BINGO...Labrada! They had me at the first sip, and then another, and then another....I'm love y'all! Then, they roped me in even closer with fun flavors like Salted Caramel, Cinnamon Bun, Cookies & Cream, Cafe Mocha and Bananas & Cream! Music to my tongue! They have the usual flavors too like Chocolate of course, Strawberries & Cream and finally Vanilla Ice Cream, which I use in my cereal in place of milk, I use Salted Caramel and Cinnamon Bun as my coffee creamer. I drink half before working out to give me some energy and the other half after the workout to feed those muscles I just worked! I'm telling you folks, this is a hidden gem in the bariatric community and it puts ALL of the other protein shakes to shame, even the one that starts with P that people were raving about on YouTube. I can't say enough good things about this product. It took me forever to write this review because I wanted to buy some other flavors that I hadn't tried and ACROSS the board, every flavor is on point and you don't even know you're drinking a protein shake that's good FOR you, good TO you and just one 17 oz protein drink delivers 40 grams of protein!!! That's HALF of my daily requirement! Throw in an egg, some beans, chicken or turkey, etc...and you're done! At night, you want a sweet treat? Labrada! Didn't have time to cook breakfast or pack a lunch? Labrada Need an after workout protein drink? Labrada Need coffee creamer? Labrada! Ran out of milk for your favorite cereal? Labrada (Vanilla Ice Cream)! I promise you that you won't be disappointed and you will come back for more time and time again! Thanks Labrada!

I went through a whole case of these shakes, and I have to say, I’m really impressed. The vanilla flavor is surprisingly good—smooth, not too sweet, and without that weird aftertaste a lot of sugar-free drinks have. It actually tastes like vanilla, which is harder to get right than you’d think. I have a desk job, and it’s way too easy to fall into the habit of grabbing fast food for lunch. Keeping a couple of these at work made a huge difference. They kept me full and made it a lot easier to stay on track without feeling like I was missing out. Over the time I was drinking them, I even dropped a couple of pounds, which was a nice bonus. If you’re looking for something convenient, filling, and actually enjoyable to drink, I’d definitely recommend giving these a try. I’ll be ordering more for sure.

Love this product!!! Taste better than any other protein shake out there that I have tried.

I use the Lean Body Vanilla Protein Shakes as a base for my morning protein coffee, and they work really well for that. The flavor mixes nicely with coffee and adds a good boost of protein without any added sugar. It’s smooth, not chalky, and keeps me full for a while. On its own, though, the flavor is just okay — not bad, just not amazing. Still, for convenience and nutrition, it’s a solid option, and I’ll keep using it in my coffee routine.

So delicious and quite filling

This ready to drink protein shake is perfect for a lunch replacement or as a coffee creamer with nutritional value. It’s vitamin packed and delivers a light lift in mood. It can be drank over ice too. Mixed well with matcha tea. Smells like vanilla. Great overall quality without chalky texture like other diet drinks.

Good for a steady supply but can be hit or miss based on how it was shipped.
