Awesome case! Fits well, and provides awesome protection

I need to return this as the 8a phone isn't working out for me. However, I still wanted to review this particular case. The phone I'm ordering (Pixel 9), I didn't hesitate to just by that version. I love Spigen cases, especially this model. I've been using them since my Moto X4 from around 2017. What sets them apart is their critical attention to detail, high quality materials, expert decision on cutouts and AMAZING fit. I will share more details regarding the Pixel 9 case, but wanted Spigen to have a positive review on this one because if you have an 8a, get it. After using one on my 5a, it has absolutely no sign of any damage, scratch, or ANYTHING. I'm relatively gentle on my phone, but still push it into pockets, environmental use etc. I ran right to them when my 5a died and needed a new phone. Specific to the 8a case, the cutouts are of course, perfect. Tight fit but can take it off easily. How they managed the "camera bar" is great. It makes it more low profile and prevents the lens from resting directly onto the table. If you want a more minimal case with basic protection (you are somewhat gentle on your phone) GET IT! Go for their other lines if you want true drop/damage protection. This does exactly what I want though and I'm a customer for life if they keep this consistency up!

I don't like big bulky phone covers, but I do want protection. This cover fits the bill perfectly. It is thick enough to be protective but it is not bulky at all. I like the raised edge on the screen side which protects the screen on most drops. The color matches my black phone perfectly and I like the carbon fiber piece at the bottom. The raised area around the camera lenses is nice and helps with protection. It also works great with my wireless charger. This is a high quality cover and I am very happy with it.

I had a similar case on a different phone. I wanted something similar. I purchased this, a different brand, because it looked so similar and I hoped it would be good. It goes on perfectly. It fits extremely well. 5 *s on those to fronts without any question. It wraps around the front just like the old one and just like I hoped. That goes a long way to prevent breaking the screen or the screen protector I put on it. I even put a camera screen protector on the back and then the case and that still worked perfectly. Perhaps I should have given it 5 stars now that I write all of this down. But and this is the only but... The texturing on the back of the case is 1 of the things I really wanted. No so slick that I drop the phone... not so rubbery that it would come out of my pocket easily. But instead of feeling textured it feels like it is... dirty. I can't come up with a better word. When I hold it in my hands it feels like it has a bit of loose dirt on it. The end of the world? Not by any means. But annoying enough that it has caused me pause a few times. I have not decided yet if I will get a different one or not. Should I get used to the texture and no longer find it an issue I will change my rating and update my review.

The case has a good feel and appears durable. The buttons on the phone are easily accessible through the case.

I needed a basic case for my work cell. This was priced well so I purchased it. I really like this case. It looks good and I like the way it feels in my hand. I like it so much that I searched for one for my private cell, but couldn't find one which is a bummer. Anyway, great case if you need something nice, but not too fancy.

I've had Spigen cases for my last 6 phones now. They are the best... This model is the perfect combination of slim design, great look, and good protection. It also has just a bit of texture and the material isn't super slippery like some I've used. I'm sure there are some out there that are more bulky and are more rugged. I'm not neurotic about my phone, so it takes some drops and bumps, but this case has always done the trick for me!

Fits perfectly, all buttons are working, the design is great and it already saved my phone a couple of times when it fell from my hands.
