Washing needed repairs after 4 months regular use.
Washer started making a wirring sound after 4 months regualr use of 2 times per week. . Washer said it has a 10 uear warranty in parts. Called intechnician. Drain pump was worn out. And needed changing. Cost me 280 aed. Better i had bought a cheap washer. Instead of this that needs parts after 4 months.

Wow washing machines have certainly moved on in the past few years. This actually weighs the load, assesses how dirty it is & even works out how much fabric conditioner to add. Beyond impressed 5*.

**AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!** I spent over £800 on this. Less than 3 years later it's been leaking slowly inside rusting inside out. It's even reached the suspension leg and the box with all the wiring. It's inherently dangerous and Samsung tried to say it was due to how I've maintained the washer - absolutely ludicrous. There's no visible rust - I only found it because the autodose containers started filling with water and diluting all of my detergent and fabric softener. Apparently tilting the washer backwards a little can help this issue. So I tried to adjust the front legs only to find the left leg was completely rotten and unable to be adjusted because of this. So I pulled it out and lifted it up and found all the rust along the bottom frame and inside the washer itself - none of which is visible when using the washer. It still has 2 years of it's 5 year warranty left but the warranty seems to not be the paper it's written on! They've tried to fob me off so they don't have to fix it. They even said they wouldn't send an engineer unless I paid for it. That was until I contacted the British CEO. They have now agreed to send an engineer. Even if they repair it (which I don't think they'll find it economical to repair) and don't replace it I'll be selling it secondhand. I spent nearly £700 at the same time as this on the matching dryer. I've had top spec Samsung washers for the past 10 years and upgrade regularly despite not needing to and only having slight use. Now I won't spend another penny with Samsung. I've instead bought an AEG that's in a brilliant sale with Amazon. AVOID AT ALL COSTS - YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

Don’t buy it if you have toddlers in your house, and avoid buying it around Black Friday. The child lock is a nightmare. It wouldn’t stop the kids from messing with the machine. When the child lock is on, the kids can still press the on/off button. And when my child pressed the on/off button and stopped the washing, we have to restart the washing again and again. Imagine you are doing a 2 hours of washing, you put the child lock on, and there is only 15 minutes left, and a child stopped it, and you have to restart and do another 2 hours. You started washing at 9 in the morning, now nearly 11 a.m., the sun outside is so bright and so ready to dry your cloches quickly for free. But now you have to wait until later, and maybe even later. And you have to change plans for the rest of the day, just because of this little mistake that could be avoided. We did try to do a quick wash or simple spin after the toddler messed, but it wouldn’t work. We can only do another full wash. This wasted a lot of time and detergents. The child lock is actually an adult lock which prevents the adults from making more moves. I mean it only works on adults! While it’s supposed to be for young children! We’ve used cheaper washing machines and nothing like this happened with other brands. It’s disappointing and frustrating. This could be avoided. Also we liked the music at the end of the washing and now tired of it. We got this on offer on Black Friday last year. We’re wondering if this was of a wrong batch. We bought a lot of appliances around Black Friday because we just moved then. And most of our purchases were disappointing. We don’t believe a company like Samsung would make such stupid mistakes (a child lock that doesn’t work as well as it should be). It’s just disappointing.

Nothing I dislike about the washing machine and personally found it easy to operate. Lots of different options and cleans the clothes better than my old Indesit, and quieter. The only complaint was that it arrived damaged as seen on the photos. Amazon couldn't offer me an exchange as there was no stock left at the same price so I removed the back cover to check for internal damage, which there was none so I decided to keep it anyway. But sadly I was never offered anything in a way of a goodwill gesture financially. Although I did eventually get the £10 I was incorrectly charged for delivery after chasing it up. But I would have thought by keeping it damaged did save Amazon money but I got offered nothing in return... That did leave a bit of a bitter taste in one's mouth.
