My Deebot N79W runs like new again
My 3 yo Ecovacs Deebot N79W has been giving off the 4 beeps sound of death for the last week whenever it tried to vacuum. After some research realized it was the main brush motor that was probably clogged w dirt and debris. I took apart the robot vacuum following the tutorial on YouTube and cleaned out the motor as instructed. The beeping went away but the main brush still wasn't rolling properly. So as a last resort, I decided to replace the motor. As the replacement motor came with the plastic casing, all i had to do was replace the old motor casing in one piece. It was very easy to replace and the fit was perfect. The Deebot now runs like new. Here's hoping the robot vacuum lasts another year or so 🙏
