I heard diaper spatulas weren’t necessary, and hesitated spending extra on this “aesthetically pleasing” one. I totally bought it because of that and because I saw a review that talked about how it was firm but pliable enough so it can spread the diaper cream easily. It’s been great and one of the best purchases for a newborn. Diaper changes are already messy and this is one extra thing to make them a little cleaner. I started to use this by applying cream directly to baby but changed and I’m now applying it to the diaper instead. Much cleaner and easy to do. Definitely recommend.

Great to spread cream on

Very pleased with this purchase! Has a good suction that allows it to stand up on its own and not get easily bumped over during diaper changes. Has withstood time. Purchased one from a different brand but found it was way too flimsy and did not pick up paste when scooped. Makes applying diaper cream very easy to use! Pricier than others on the market but worth it, purchased one for a much lower price and ended up returning because it did not get the job done!

Very helpful for applying diaper rash cream, which is the only cream that bothers me to touch (why is it so gritty?). I wipe the excess on the diaper but still end up needing to use a wipe to clean the applicator so it feels somewhat wasteful. But if you are texture sensitive, definitely not bad to have.
