Wow what a mini drone. Fairly stable with optical flow and GPS. Nice battery time. Very nice manual and app. It gives you a feel of expensive drone at a price of just 200 AED. Highly recommended.

I purchased this to learn how to fly a drone. I am very pleased with how it handles and battery time (about 10 minutes average), which is not bad because it comes with 3 batteries. It gets pushed around a little bit in the wind due to its small size and weight. I found that using the higher speed setting tames the wind better. I do not use the headless mode because I want to develop better control skills. The little drone has great response to the controller. It is well made and durable. I have had a couple of minor crashes and so far it's unscathed. HolyStone has hit the mark with an inexpensive, well made, easy to fly drone to learn piloting skills on. It's also loads of fun. I think they got me hooked on drone flying!

My short review of this drone is it has everything you need to get the real experience of operating a drone and performs beautify. The HS700 is a real treat to fly especially for beginners. I have several drones, mostly hobby grade racing style from 2” - 7” prop sizes. All of which I have built from scratch. They are fast and fun but I only let my sons or myself fly them. Also the hobby drones need a lot of maintenance. The HS700 shines in its ease of use and stable, consistent, and predictable flight qualities. I was out flying it at our local park with my son and we handed the control to a 10-year-old boy who never flow before. The young guy got the hang of it right away. I would never do that with any other drone I own. The folks at HolyStone also include a battery bag for charging. This is more than just a nice touch. It’s the kind of detail a hobbyist knows is an important detail for safely charging Lipo batteries but someone new to the hobby might overlook. Also include are the tools needed to to remove the props and install the landing gear, and a nice notebook with post it tabs and a pen. It’s good practice to make notes on your flights. Again, everything you need to just go fly. I have crashed the HS700 (more than once I’m afraid) and it holds up quite well. I once (okay twice) hit a tree and it fell about 20’ to the ground. After cleaning it up it fly like new. One thing to keep in mind is that after you power it on by inserting the battery and have it paired to the controller, you need to calibrate the drone in order to get it to fly. To do this, place the drone on a flat surface and pull both controller joysticks down and to the left. The lights under the props will blink fast green than alternate yellow and green slowly. Next spin the drone flat about three times until the lights all flash slow green. Lastly point the nose of the drone up and rotate it until the red light are solid in the front and green LEDs are solid in the back. The iOS App is easy to set up and use and the video is clean and very usable for flight but not up to the task of professional cinematography. Flight times are long. I haven’t timed it but it’s several times longer than any of my other drones. They say 20 minutes and I have to believe it’s close to that. This is a great kit at a relatively low price point and I feel it would be wonderful for anyone who want to dip their toes in to the drone hobby.

Received this as a Christmas gift and have flown it 4 times already and so far I am pleased with the quality, features and reliability of the Holy Stone HS700. Charging the battery initially did take about 5-6 hours as stated by other buyers and flight does only last about 18 minutes which is pretty standard for drones in this price range. The one-touch takeoff/landing and the return home feature is a great safe guard to have for the beginner like me. Still playing around with the features on the app but they are easy to use and understand. The “headless mode” was a little confusing at first but after experimenting with the different functions while the drone is hovering 7-10 feet off the ground really helped me better understand how some of the features truly work. The camera actually takes decent pics and video and I bought a spare micro SD card that has added capacity than the one provided. Overall I am pleased with this drone and the features it has at this price range. I would recommend the HS700 to others wanting to get in the hobby of drones for a beginner

It's a size of a cigarette pack. So I believe the wind can blow it easily. But I haven't tried it yet as it's a present for my boy. Hope it's good. Otherwise looks like good quality.
