Fun and easy
This putty is super easy to use and makes mold-making way simpler than liquid silicone. No need for mold walls or worrying about leaks – just knead equal parts of each color and press your object right in. It cures fast, which is great if you're ready, but you do need to work quickly. I saw a few reviews mention the short working time; I had everything prepped, so I didn’t run into issues, but I can see how it could catch you off guard if you’re not ready or move slowly. It picks up decent detail, but if you're working with intricate designs, it might miss finer lines. For basic shapes and small to medium items, it’s great. Some reviews talked about air bubbles, but that seems more like a technique issue, maybe? From the reviews, seems like some people got batches that were dried out or missing seals – mine was fine, but it’s worth checking right away. The price feels a little high for the amount you get, but the convenience makes up for it. Prices change, so maybe it won’t be an issue depending on when you buy. For small molds – resin, clay, Halloween stuff – it works great. There’s a learning curve, but after a few tries, you get the hang of it. Overall – easy, fun, and super handy, just not the best for ultra-detailed or large projects.

Takes a few tries to get it just right.
This stuff has a very short/quick working time, but it also needs to be used and moulded around your object in a narrow window between too mouldable where it'll just get saggy and lose definition and detail, and too stiff when it's too set to get it where you want it. It takes a few tries to get it right, but it does work, and well. There's just a learning curve, and I'm also trying to figure out if it's at all brand specific, or if your learning will transfer to other brands of this type of silicone mould maker. There does seem to be enough to play around with it and make a few that may be failures, unless your object is really big.

Perfect For Miniature Mold Making!
I make dollhouse miniatures, and wanted to make molds of a few of the parts so I could then cast them in resin. This silicone putty is exactly what I needed! I am only making very small molds, so this is going to last me for a while. Mixing the two parts by weight isn't a problem with a small scale and so far I have been very pleased with how they come out! Back to resin casting! This stuff is terrific!

Not curing?
I’m guessing because of the 60 degree ac that is typically in the space i’m working in, the putty will not cure within 20-30 minutes. I’m kneading and mixing thoroughly until reaching a solid color…i also noticed the putty parts both white and purple are pretty oily and when mixed its more of a lilac color, way lighter then the color advertised. idk, maybe i’m doing something wrong. but i ended up just using a heat gun on low after letting it sit for almost 4 hrs and it still being soft enough to slice with my fingernail, disrupt the mold and even roll back up into a ball. i’m on my 5th or 6th attempt of the night actually lol. but for the amount i bought for this price, i will try to figure this out..i stored the putty jars and my molds in the outside storage for the night maybe it needs to be stores at warmer temperatures to work properly.

Easy to use
I purchased this in order to create a mold for my son. It was easy to use and worked well. I don't know if it will work as well with a more complicated design, but for the simple mold, it went just fine.

Love making my own molds
I was a little nervous about difficulty, so I watched a couple tutorials and whatnot online, but honestly I probably would've been fine with just the instructions it came with. Overall it's super easy to use. I've only made small molds with it so far, but they've all turned out great. I've been using my molds with clay, but there are so many different things I can use them with and I'm super excited to do more creating!

Makes excellent gear resistant molds
I love making molds with this kit. It is pliant and easy to work with, and it sets up quickly. The molds are durable and hold up to high heat. Excellent value for the money.

Works ok for small items
This is a nice product to make your own quick drying molds of small items you want to recreate using resin or clay. It doesn't do as well as I had hoped with very detailed pieces, but in general it's ok.
