Lovevery Biting Hurts (Tricky Topics)

Great book that helps babies and toddlers navigate those biting moments. Giving them alternative ways to deal with things when they are mad or frustrated. I love that we were able to have this as a resource right when our baby started biting.

These lovevery books are amazing and helpful! They are helpful to explain and portray every day incidents and situatios that occur. I like the real person images and the real language you would use to explain situations simply.

I like all of the Lovery books. This book is really cute and has helped my daughter realize that biting is not nice. The pictures are well done. I would recommend this.

This is a helpful resource for a tricky topic. I got the book because my 2-year-old grandson had started biting, and I wanted to be sure we got it under control. We read the book a few times, and luckily his biting phase didn't last very long. The book does a good job of explaining how toddlers often have big feelings that they don't know how to handle and will sometimes act out inappropriately. I loved how the mother in the book gave her son ideas of other ways that he could release his anger without hurting someone. This would be a great book to give to parents or caregivers.

We love Lovevery books - we have almost all of them. I’m not sure how effective this particular book was for my daughter though, after she read it she bit me (mom) for the first time. As if she learned that was an option. We were hoping to curb very occasional biting of her sister. She loves to read it though and hasn’t bit another child since receiving it, so maybe the messaging was there!

I have 2 kids with developmental disabilities, and both of them bite at times. I got this book to use with my younger son. This book feels similar to a social story, which are commonly used with kids who have difficulty understanding cause and effect of their actions. I like that this is a well made board book, it will be durable for the rough handling that my kids sometimes have. This book has nice photos depicting a boy having a hard day and how he deals with it. The story is ok, it may or may not convince a kid to not bite. I like that it explains other ways to get out frustrations. It was funny when I read the book to my son, he was really into the story until he realized that the story was going to have a message that he would rather not think about. There is a QR code on the the back of the book for more resources on the topic. I have not looked at that yet. I would be interested to check out another book by this company, since the book is such a nice quality. Overall, I recommend this book for teaching a kid about why biting isn't ok.

I usually love to read the Lovevery books to my Little guys and this one is not my favorite. I do not like the lesson storyline, and it also lost my Littles ( 2 boys ages 2 & 3 ) attention mid way. Returned it

I love LOVEVERY, but the books can sometimes be a little lengthy for my two littles. I am however glad that there are books to address these topics.
