Nice strong tarp that is tear resistant and not subject to torn out grommets... effective against wind and rain when strung properly. A poor installation, with sagging will result in pooling of rainwater and a small dripping leak... a small one. Does not degrade significantly after a year of snow, wind, rain and sun... I repeated my purchase... 3 times, (for greater versatility- not out of need for replacement)

Love this tarp. I was waiting till the end of the season to review this to see how it held up. It's still in great shape. Our whole summer was either blazing hot or pouring rain and it held up under both. The smell other folks complained about dissipated in a few days. No big deal.

Purchased this to be able to carry large produce from garden to vehicle to weighoff scales. We had a previous similar canvas tarp we used but wore out after years of use. This one looked similar but was at a cheaper price. So we bought this one. First off was different than the picture. Did not have the reinforced seam down the middle. And the sewn seams in the corners looked were not straight and looked like they were hand sewn by someone using a needle and thread not sitting at a sewing machine. But the canvas felt heavy duty and we thought it would hold up. Wrong! Are bushel gourd was too heavy to actually carry with this tarp so we decided to pull it on this tarp about 15 yds over flat grass to our vehicle. After we took it off the tarp we noticed the tarp had tears and rips starting after one use!! Cheaply made and so not worth the price!! Will not be purchasing again. Will pay the price and get the exact same previous tarp that had lasted years.

Tarp is very heavy duty and the D rings work well for tying. I do wish it had d rings and grommets to really get it tied well. The big negative about this tarp is the fact that it sheds dye badly. Anything it touches including your hands will be dyed the color of the tarp. It also has a very strong, odd smell. If you are looking for something to strap down garbage or yard waste in the bed of your truck, this is perfect. Don’t use it to cover anything if value.

This is definitely a heavy duty canvas. I bought it to lay on top of my dog's bed to protect the bed from his toenails. He's an American bulldog, lives outside, and does not get pedicures. But I did buy him a foam mattress to lay on since his toenails destroyed the old sofa on the back patio. He's been using this for a couple weeks now. I don't think there will be a problem.
