Quality & Necessary Recumbent Tools
Was installing an Efneo front drive on a recumbent trike and needed more than a low-profile chain breaker. While I do EDC a Victorinox Spirit X (purchased last year from Amazon) had figured perhaps I should also get master link pliers too, So while searching on Amazon I found this Oumers kit that also included a much desired chain wear tool too. Was expecting to pay $30 alone for a quality chain breaker, but got a great deal as a package. And I did compare with other items on Amazon, and also offline reviews before making a selection. Used the Oumers chain breaker on some KMC X8.99 chain I also purchased with this kit. The links were a bit more stubborn, so I found that using a leather glove to get the initial hard press the rest was easy. What I do like about the Oumers chain breaker is that the shelf has an adjuster to fit the chain, something other chain breakers don't do. And this tool came with an extra bit, which was an added plus! And a wire to keep the chain ends from slipping away. (grin) Use extra wire as a backup if you've not done this before, or if you have a 'helpful' friend. (grin) So for breaking the breaker is fully adjustable, aligns near perfectly - does not angle off, and the press works great. Did not have any issues with the Oumers chain breaker or the rest of the tools. Which is a BIG PLUS for me, as stuff does not always go as planned. No worries here! Oumers chain wear tool showed me there was still life in the previous KMC X72 which had roughly 3,000 miles on it pulling near maximum load (475#). That is impressive for an inexpensive chain. This time around I went with a chain with more plating as I ride in any condition. And for those pliers. Oh how may times I used those pliers! They were better than the Spirit X and was adding and removing the Missing Links that came with the KMC chain. While I do want to put the chain together the proper way, without using the master links, I need a bit more practice. And I have an older chain (that is still usable) to practice with using these Oumers bicycle tools. If you are on a budget and need a quality kit that works, no gimmicks, and gets you done and down the road, get this Oumers kit. Even if you do not use the chain measuring tool right away, it is still worth the extra few bucks because you will be needing one later on. Bonza tools!

Worked Perfectly for Chain Replacement
These bike chain repair tools worked exactly as needed. I used them to resize a new chain and then install it on the bike, and the whole process was smooth and straightforward. The tools feel sturdy and easy to handle, which made removing links and reconnecting the chain simple. Great addition to any basic bike repair kit. If you’re doing your own maintenance, these tools make the job much easier. Definitely a solid purchase!

Solid Product
Tried to work on bike chain without proper tools for about 1.5 hours. All was going ok until I had to push out one of the chain link pins. No bueno. Saw this several-piece chain tool kit for well under what my local bike shop has to charge for even one of these tools, and decided to go for it. Everything was just as advertised and very solid/sturdy and effective. Had the bike chain fixed in literally 10 minutes. It is the kind of tool I may use maybe 2 more times before I go to Heaven (I should have at least 30 more years!), but at such a reasonable price, I'm so glad I pulled the trigger! Kinds makes me want to ask my neighbors if they need any chain work done - now that I have effective tools, I wanna do more!

Does the job
If you are working on your own bikes and change a couple of chains a year these are great for getting the job done on a budget. It appears based on the feel of the plastic parts that these were made in different factories in China. The chain breaker has hard plastic while the Master Link is softer. I expect these will do that job for quite a while and are a great deal. I can see replacing them with the same product down the road. Very pleased.

This is all you need to adjust your chain
There are SO many different options when it comes to breaking a chain and/or taking links out of a chain that it could make your head spin. Do yourself a favor and get something cheap like this. It takes 2 minutes (if that) to break a chain and add a master link, and any tool from China that's designed to do it will work. This one works fine and I've used it several time since I wax my chains and therefore swap them regularly. It's easy to use, it fits chains perfectly, and it's compact and lightweight.

Spring constantly pops off
The spring will NOT stay in. Very frustrating cause if you end up losing it the tool won’t work. Of course I missed the return window by 4 days.

Ich habe mir dieses Set gekauft, um eine Kette bei meinem E-Bike zu wechseln. Zuerst mit der Zange die alte Kette am Kettenschloss geöffnet. Das klappte wunderbar. Dann die neue Kette mit dem Ketten-Nieter gekürzt. Auch hier keine Probleme. Ich habe das ganze zuvor zweimal vorsichtshalber getestet. Es funktionierte immer einwandfrei. Also dann auch an der richtigen Stelle der neuen Kette. Danach dann die Kette auf das Bike aufgezogen und mit dem beiliegenden Draht die Kette befestigt. Nun noch das Kettenschloss eingehängt und nachdem ich den Haltedraht entfernt hatte, das Kettenschloss mit der Zange verriegelt. Fertig. Ohne diese Werkzeuge ist ein Kettenwechsel eigentlich nicht möglich. Ich habe mich vorher durch ein Video informiert, wie Ich vorgehen muß und was ich alles benötige. Alles liegt diesem Set bei. Es hat alles so funktioniert wie es in dem Video gezeigt wurde. Wie lange das Set hält, kann ich natürlich nicht sagen, aber es ist nach diesem Aus- und Einbau nichts gebrochen oder verschlissen, sodass ich das Set bestimmt noch ein paar Mal verwenden kann. Ich finde das Set wirklich top 👍, kann es zu 100% empfehlen. Bei dem Preis macht man keinen Fehler. Viel Spaß beim Ketten wechseln 😉

ロードバイクのチェーン替えを本製品のみで行うことができました。 3点どれも品質は必要十分で一度の使用で壊れる気配は全くありませんでした。 末永く使いたいのであれば、メーカーものを購入したほうが長く利用できると思いますが、 そうそうチェーンなど交換する機会はないと思うので、安く済ませたいのであればこれで十分なのでオススメです。
