Hefty and does the job well.
Quite a big and heavy machine (533mm belt as opposed to 450mm belt) but the extra heft can work in your favour on flooring etc. Fixes to the bench well with its own brackets. Noisy as hell (all belt sanders make a racket) so ear protection is a must. Have used it a fair bit mostly fixed to the bench for sharpening tools and a bit of shaping and it’s done everything I wanted it to do at less than half the price of big name brands.. It’s not a delicate tool for intricate work but it’s more than good enough for any DIY type job and great value for money so I completely recommend it.
