These do work
I saw a lot of people saying they don't in the reviews. Two things; install and use the Adafruit servo drivers as instructed in the website linked here. Also, make SURE you solder the jumpers to select your VCC. If you don't do that your servos won't be powered. Finally make sure you power up the green gang connector with 5-6V as the board does not power up from the shield. Do these things and I assure you it will work. Leave the address jumpers blank and the example is configured for it already.

Not for the faint of heart
I got this for a robotic arm project that I am working on and it works well. It makes connecting many servos to a microcontroller much easier. It uses the IIC protocol for communications so it is a bit different to code for when you are used to coding and wiring each individual servo to the microcontroller itself, but once you get one servo working, the rest is a breeze. I would definitely recommend this item for more advanced projects. It saves a bunch of time and hassle in the long run.

Good but not much information online about it.
A little bit of a learning curve, but once you get used to the library then it works fine. Not very clear which library should be used so I had to do some extra research to find out that the adafruit library was the right one.

Cheap but works
Awesome thank you

Works well with servo motors
Worked well for a robotic arm project. I used it with MG996R servo motors.

Bought this for a project.
Haven't built the project, yet, but I'll probably have some Keystudio proto boards elsewhere in the project, so having this servo board will be perfect.

Requires capacitor for heftier servos
If anyone is having trouble getting this to work, the driver comes with an unpopulated spot for an electrolytic capacitor. The value you need is roughly 100uf x the amount of servos you have connected. If you're using 4 servos then a 470uf 6.3v electrolytic capacitor will do the job. 10, 1000uf 6.3v, you get the idea. You can go over in both values, 4 servos with a 1000uf 16v electrolytic capacitor, for example, but it will struggle if the capacitance is too low, and will ruin the capacitor if you use a voltage lower than 6.3v. Other than that issue, the board works fine and suits my needs. But instructions detailing that need should be included with the board for beginners.

ITS PURTY BUT JUNK
I have never been able to find a way to get it to work, its not plug and play, seems like a good idea but unless you have a secret database of help its useless. I'm new to Arduino but not code, i ahve no time to waste trying to make things work, 54 yrs old building a robot for 15 years now going blind and i will finish even if hack companies like this waste my time.

Produit parfait et conforme à la description

I have two now. This is a shield, so fits neatly on the arduino (others require cabled connections). We’ll packaged, prompt delivery.
