Coffee Kettle 28oz W/thermometer

Solid design, with a secure handle with two screws holding it. I heated two kettles of water and dumped them them used a small amount of dish soap to wash it. I detected no machine oil or any foreign substance after cleaning. The thermometer at temperature is accurate when compared at 150°F to 212°F with my NSF kitchen thermometer. It is a bit off at the room temp end but that's typical, it's right on the money where I make my coffee and tea. Overall a very well worth the money addition for brewing tea and pour over coffee. It fits perfectly on my counter coffee area hot plate and makes a great addition.

I bought this for my new hobby - pour over coffee. For someone who has 9 coffeemakers from espresso machines to percolators, I had it all except for pour over. I bought the smaller size since the one I wanted was out of stock. The next day it came back in stock and I bought the larger one I loved this pot so much. Now I own two. These pots are not only priced well but they are built to last. The stainless steel and the brushed finish make my expensive Farberware and Breville look bland by comparison. The gooseneck is a thick meticulously designed component with a specially designed tip to eliminate drip-down. The lid fits perfectly….not loose where it may fall off or too tight that trying to remove it may burn you. The handle (which you assemble with screws AND A TINY SCREWDRIVER provided) are perfectly engineered for a tight and permanent fit. The thermometer is accurate! It even has a red zone for the proper pour-over temperature range. Nothing was left out of this design. A special note for those reviews where RUST was mentioned. There is a small likelihood of rust on stainless steel but certain things can rust stainless steel, especially contact with other metals. Those brown rust-look spots are the result of a chemical reaction to metals under high heat and TDS (total dissolved solvents) in your bad water. I’ve tried bottled water and all types. Nothing solved the rusty look until I bought the Zero Water filter system. Never again have I seen brown spots nor have I decalcified my appliances. I love these pots..you will too. Use PURE water to keep the pot meticulously clean and looking new.

My husband and I use this kettle every day and it’s great! Easy to read the temperature and I love how it looks on my stovetop! It’s easy to clean, because it’s stainless steel, we’ve had zero issues with it!

Great Kettle with a few issues. The handle area closest to the Kettle where you put your thumb gets VERY hot. The Thermometer is accurate but very hard to read.

I bought this thing to use with a hario v60 pour over coffee maker I got, and it was absolutely perfect. The value is pretty incredible... I have used it almost every day since I got it, and it works great. I use it with an induction burner, and it boils water super fast... The spout is perfect so that you can have maximum control over where you are pouring the water, and the temperature gauge seems to be accurate. It is super handy, because when the line goes into the red, I know it's a good temp to brew my coffee. It's also been nice to use for hot tea! 10/10 would recommend.

I don’t know because I haven’t used it. I CAN’T use it because the metal inside is so filthy and no amount of scrubbing, soaking boiling and cleaning gets the interior so that the water that is poured out of it is clear - I don’t want to drink the water that comes out of it when it looks and smells filthy… two months after I’ve bought it! I’ve bought another gooseneck from Amazon and had no trouble with it. Not sure what the trick is to get this clean, but I may have to toss it and I’m really angry about having spent this much money on something I can’t use.

It's not super fancy but it's also not very expensive. I don't understand reviews comparing products to others costing far more. I read some reviews about build quality, specifically the handle attachment, but mine is put together well and is sturdy. The temperature reading on mine is also accurate. I have two, the large and small versions, and this review describes both accurately. I really like the kettle and find it useful and sturdy. IF, like me, you were debating between the two sizes, let me give you some input. If you are going to use it exclusively solo, the smaller one may suit you. I road trip solo often and it works great. However, the larger one holds significantly more if you'll be using it with more than just you AND, strangely, it's not really that much bigger regarding bulk. I find myself using the big one mostly, even when I'm by myself. I like both very much and find them easier to use and sturdy! Oh, and fyi, while most will use this at home, if you plan to camp with it, a small camp stove or very small fire is okay, but if you put it on a big camp fire, you're going to burn your hand on the handle. Consider yourself informed LOL.

Me impresionó el cuello de cisne, muy buena calidad y perfecto para los métodos pour over para hacer café. Se siente de buena calidad, el único tema podría ser que el mango se calienta un poco de la parte superior pero no llega a quemar
