Motion 3 works as described. Very to easy to activate and link to goggles (N3)

I went all in when I got my DJI Air 3 drone. I got the drone, upgraded to the fly more kit with extra batteries, a power pack designed to recharge everything quickly, upgraded to the RC2 controller, Goggles 3 and got the extra protective cases and waterproof carrying kit. But do you know what I forgot to do?? I forgot to get the RC Motion 3! The goggles work well enough with the RC2. They do. But there is something missing. The RC Motion 3!! I love this tiny remote! The instructions are simple enough, and I do recommend the tutorial that it puts you through on the goggles because it can do a lot with the few buttons it has compared to the RC2. It has an on-screen point during flight that takes the drone in the direction of the pointer in realtime during flight. If you activate head tracking mode then you have a whole new experience in FPV flight and control. Amazing remote control. The biggest issue I had was that you must remove the RC2 from the DJI drone profile as it says only one controller can be linked at a time due to flyaway tracking. But if you want to switch back between the two, in separate flights, while grounded just take 3-4 minutes to switch controllers. I recommend this if you have a compatible drone and the goggles. This beats looking at the RC2 screen when all you want to is experience the flight from the drones POV. Decent battery life on it means you probably don’t have to recharge it until you have gone through the three batteries in the fly more package. I would recommend having a full charge through that 3 battery cycle to avoid interrupted flight. This thing is cool!

Favorite controller that I have for my DJI Neo

It is fun if you are a beginner or not interested in learning to fly hardcore FPV. This will not make you a very good pilot, but it is a fun toy. It is good for your mom or grandpa to play with, but you will want to go faster and this thing is hard capped at a pretty low speed even in sport mode. Once you get a taste for manual mode FPV, you will quickly find this thing to be a fun novelty rather than a necessity. It is wasted on the Avata 2 which is already a somewhat slow, unstable and finicky FPV drone. This is actually more fun on the Mini 4 Pro than the Avata 2! The build quality of the device is good, and the battery lasts for seemingly forever. It is sensitive to movements, allowing for some fun moves and can be used with one or two hands.

This is a product that is meant to be small and usable for most all individuals I'm sure but, it really seems too small for most "man-sized" hands. Holding it with the end of your hand/pinky finger hanging off the end is not very comfortable at all. This means that the trigger is somewhat awkward to wield. Other than that, the controller is simple to get used to and easy to control. The buttons are easy to reach and in no time at all, you will find yourself making the drones do exactly what you wanted them to do. I am using it with my Avata 2 and my Mini 4 with ease.

I can fly my DJI avata 2 and my DJI mini 4 pro with this controller; but struggle to fly the mini 4 pro with the RC-2 stick controller. In the meantime, I study the follow me attributes of the mini 4 pro as presented by the RC-2 controller with hopes that I will eventually master that field of flight.

Couple this with the DJI goggles and you have a much different and more accurate flight with your drone, I got it working on my Neo and love the control it offers.

Guter Controller zum Einstieg ins FPV fliegen. Benutze ihn zusammen mit den Googles N3 und der DJI Neo. Die Verbindung klappt sofort und ohne Probleme. Die Steuerung ist intuitiv über Bewegungssteuerung und dem Trigger, also recht simpel. Ans richtige FPV fliegen wird es nicht ran kommen, aber zum ausprobieren und für Anfänger eine gute Wahl um das FPV fliegen zu testen.
