This set is made smoothly and the threads are machined great for easy opening and closing. The shackles have a nice smooth paint job to keep them looking great.

these work great when falling trees and pulling them down with a pickup

This product is listed as 1/2” D-ring shackle with 5/8” pin, I thought that was the gauge of the metal but didn’t realize it would be close to the actual size of the ring. These are only a few inches wide and I don’t think I’d be comfortable off-roading with them. They are solid hooks and I’ll find a use for them elsewear.

Kit did not include washers / isolators, the description says it does. So I'll have to go get my own. That's annoying point #1 ... inaccurate product description. Also, if you're building a mall crawler or show truck, note - 3 of the 4 of these arrived chipped / scratched. That's annoying point #2. The remaining 3 stars I gave this kit is due to the functionality of the shackles, they'll work fine.
