This works but you have to know how to use it and you have to be careful in how you place it. I used it to hem pants.1. measure the cuff to your specs. 2. turn the pant leg inside out and measure again where you want the hem. 3. Either cut off excess or just leave it .4. Have iron ready and heated. If you are doing polyester pants be careful not to make it too hot as it will discolor the fabric. 5. Measure the amount of tape you need to go around the pant leg hem .6. Throw the cut tape into a cup of water to wet it. Press out excess water. 7. Place the tape over the seam such that the two stripes land one on the cuff side and one on the pant side. Make sure the glue strip is facing the pant, not the iron. If you using it on thick material like jeans, be careful to assure their enough glue strip to cover both the cuff side and the pant side.8. Press with iron by touching and sliding along the tape until it sticks/glues to the fabric. If the pant has a thick seam, like jeans, make sure fabric does not pucker and stays smooth. When all is said and done, it works but you have to be precise and neat. And you WILL feel the tape and even see it by the fabric being thicker where it lays. So its not as neat as sewing, but is more convenient. If its dress pants and you are a stickler for appearance, this is not for you. If its everyday jeans or chinos, its ok. Holds up under washing. Make sure to press the pants again and again to flatten the material and make a crease.

This is absolutely horrible!!! So much work to iron them on (adhesive did not want to stick) just for the hem to come undone in 1 wash.

The instructions aren’t taking into account the variables involved like temperature of the iron and the materials. I turned my iron up all the way. I sprayed the surrounding areas with water to it wouldn’t burn. 60/40 cotton polyester. I pressed down for 3 seconds and it mostly stuck. I then went around with the tip and spot burned a few spots for extra adhesion. Seems like it’s good and will stay put. 3-4-25 I’ll come back and give one star if it comes off in the wash.

With hand arthritis I have become unable to use a needle and thread, so this quality hem tape allows me to custom tailor my nice pants with an iron. It adheres well to most fabrics and being able to apply it on top rather than inside, leaving a raw edge, is a big plus., This is excellent.

Excellent purchase, value for the money!

Not the quality I expected. I did other brands and I thought all are the same, but...... NOT. When Iron some spots shrink and don't glue to the fabric. Unfortunately I can't return I already open it. I been using it, Yes, but I need to cut little pieces to complete my project.
