I get how this product was probably designed... How could I walk around and take videos while having both hands free? Boom! Here's "TELESIN° Magnetic POV/Vlog Neck Cell Phone Holder"It's a clever product and it does what it was designed to do. You can easily attach your phone to this device hanging on your neck with your hands free. Great! Right?Here are some issues:1. If you are moving and walking, your body/boobs/chest would cause the phone to bounce. So the video is a lot of bouncing and shaking.2. It's not difficult for someone to run up to you and snatch your phone right off this mount. In fact, super easy. So be aware of your surroundings when around a large crowd.Conclusion, this product is made well. I would recommend, but do note that it might or might not work out well for all situations.

First off the materials and sturdiness of this holder are great. The rubber around the neck is durable and flexible. The metal that connects to the holder is very sturdy and the joints are stiff but allow good movement. As far as the materials and construction goes, it is real quality. The magnetic ring that connects to your magnetic that attaches to the cell phone is super strong and allows you to rotate the phone a full 360.I appreciate the chest cushion piece as it absorbs a decent amount of shock. When filming something standing still it provides excellent stability. However, as a woman with a fairly large chest, I found the device to sway too much to capture a hands free walking journey to be out of my reach, due to the sway of my bosom. I feel that if the designer had an optional protrusion from the chest piece it may possibly help with this issue.I like that the neck strap easily disconnects from the body to be able to get it around your neck. Individuals with small necks can possibly put it around your neck without dislodging the neck lock.Overall, I find the device useful to film videos that I like to do like cooking and bbq. It can be improved for more bodies and I love to see the creativity in this arena.

I cam across this lanyard-style smartphone mount recently while searching for a way to secure my smartphone camera to my upper chest area for some video production projects. I'm creating some how-to videos that benefit from this type of camera angle, but I need my hands free in order to capture what I'm filming.This device works perfectly for this need. It's very comfortable both around the neck and where the unit makes contact with my chest. The chest portion has a padded backing for cushioning. I've worn it for two or three hours straight with no issues. The support component that wraps around your neck unclips by pushing a button on the side of the unit. That's a good thing, as this would not fit over my head when fully secured. That seems to be by design, as it's important for it not to have too much slack, which would upset the stability.The ring that connects to the smartphone has excellent adjustments and is very secure. There were no problems with the adjustable mounting arm staying firmly in position. There is nothing to loosen or tighten to adjust the arm. Simply set it to an angle that works, and it stays put. That's a really great design.If you have a need for this type of smartphone camera mount, you can't go wrong with this unit. It's well made, high quality, and does exactly what it's supposed to do without being fussy or fidgity. I love it!

I ordered the POV phone holder with the idea of exploring some amateur filmmaking with my boyfriend—specifically for POV shots. Unfortunately, it didn’t quite live up to our expectations for that purpose. The part that goes around your neck is too loose, making it nearly impossible to get steady camerawork. On the plus side, it’s easy to put on and take off, and the materials are quite sturdy. It’s moderately comfortable but, frankly, it’s better suited for watching things close up rather than trying to capture POV footage. So, if you’re looking for a steady filming accessory, this might not be your best bet.

Do you sometimes find yourself in a situation where you want to shoot a video from your own perspective, but you need your hands free? For me, that situation is that sometimes at work I need to record a demo of myself operating a device, but that demo includes doing things with both hands. This item is perfect for that.I'm using a Pixel phone that has a MagSafe ring embedded in the case. The magnetism is strong. I'm not sure if I'd trust it to record intense physical activity, but for moderate movement, it should work just fine. I feel silly wearing it, but it serves a purpose.

❤️So I have been using this to do some P.O.V. videos for reviews, & I have had mixed results.🧡I have found that if I'm doing a video where I’m using my arms a lot, the video is shaky.💛This is great for unboxing something, when you don't have to move around a whole lot.💚It’s super easy to put around your neck, and it folds up very small.💙The magnetic connection, using the included ring on the back of my phone, is VERY VERY STRONG.💜It is SO quick and easy to adjust the angle of your phone, but it's also very strong and stays perfectly in place even after attaching the phone. Exactly what you WANT-many of my other phone mounts have failed on this feature. 💯🩷Overall, I would Recommend this for recording P.O.V. videos where you aren't moving your body around a whole lot. Otherwise, I would still suggest using some type of clip-on or floor/tabletop Tripod Style phone holder, for stability purposes. This neck loop is great. The piece holding the magnet has a rubbery pillow back to minimize vibration and smooth out motion and it works very well. The neck piece is wide and doesn't dig in very comfortable. I appreciate how easily it can be adjusted and keeps its shape. Great for all sorts of vlog work in a sleek package.
