"I should've been using this all along!"
This is one of those products that you come across and go "I should've been using this all along!" I had become frustrated with using a microfiber duster to sweep my floors because it was terrible at sweeping all the dustballs that it collects into a dustpan to be thrown out. Don't get me wrong, the duster does what it's supposed to do: collect dust, but that's all it does. I found myself having to use my old straw broom to sweep the collected dust into the pan, but it kicks up so much dust (the reason the duster is useful) that I ended up searching to see if silicone brooms had been invented. Lo and behold, I've been behind the times all along. This broom is so great, especially the squeegee end that I use it more than my duster now. It's the perfect broom for hard floors (tile, hard wood, lanolium, laminate wood, etc). Now I feel comfortable finally chucking my old straw broom. I especially like how easy it is to rinse this broom clean and that it works on wet dirt. I'll definitely be recommending this to my friends and family.

Best Broom Ever!!
I was really happy to find this broom as I had a similar one many years ago and loved it. Rubber brooms such as this one are fantastic for all types of floors: hardwood, tile and even carpeting! It pulls hairs out of carpet fibers like nothing else I've ever seen. I sometimes remove the broom head from the handle and run it over my couch. This version of the broom also has a great feature in that there are places in the top of the broom head to press in Swiffer clothes or other similar dusting clothes. One side of the broom can also be used as a squeegee. I'm not sure how this broom could be made any better.

First time trying a mop / broom like this
I have been pretty happy with this broom. it does a great job with cat hair and dirt on hardwood floors. where with a regular broom the hair turns into dust bunnies and go floating across the floor, this broom makes them stick to each other and / or the floor, making sweeping much faster. I am 5'7" and find the handle too short. it is the exact same length as any standard broom length, but because the bristle section is so much shorter it becomes an issue. I will be getting a replacement telescoping handle for it. To be clear, it is okay to use, but I am not using appropriate posture. Mixed results on carpet, it does tend to fling dirt backwards, but also captures a fair amount, jury still out on this one. Mopping with this thing is really great. Efficient, much cleaner rinses right off when you are done. I think this is where this product excels. It should be called "silicone push mop" or at least "broom / mop"

Love Broom BUT Not for Pet Hair and NOT a Push Broom
I was very hopeful for carpet hair removal, given the reviews. I have many types of carpet, including thick wool. HOWEVER,... The broom only minimally removes surface hair, forms the hair into a roll, and then skips over the roll unless you use very short pull strokes. Requires multiple pulls to get a roll of hair close enough to pick up. Pushing is inefficient; the broom stutters across the carpet or gets stuck from having the broom head at the wrong angle during a push motion. I tried tucking a wet cleaning cloth and this works very well on bare floors. I was very pleased by the quality of the broom. To attach the handle, unscrew the cap attached to the broom head and slide this up the handle. Screw the handle into the broom head, lower the cap and screw back to the broom head. I love this design! The handle is very securely in place and will not loosen or turn out! YAY on this great attention to detail. SO, I decided to simply use the two I ordered to replace the other two now-worn out, similar brooms I have had for years (different brand). I have ordered a metal rug rake that looks like a huge version of a pet grooming comb that has multiple row of metal hairs. Hope that will work to actually pull hair from deeper within carpets.

AWESOME!
I have a little 8lb pooch that loves to shed and get his hair all over my apartment! After spending WAY too much money on vacuums that would only last a short time, or stop working after a few months (they just don't provide good suction for long) I decided to buy this rubber sweeper. YAY! I think this is the first time I've had really, really clean carpets in a long time! All the hair comes up! The trick is to use short strokes! I'm SO happy I found this - and this price cannot be beat!

Not just for sweeping floors!
I received this broom yesterday and started using it immediately! The handle is heavy duty metal and I was able to assemble it with no problem. I used it on the carpet in the bedroom and..Oh MY! The amount of hair that surfaced was incredible. A short raking motion worked best for me. I removed cobwebs from the corner ceiling. I swept the living room and kitchen. I have yet to use it as a mop but I can;t imagine that it would not be effective. I also plan on cleaning the ceiling fans! Multi-purpose and definitely worth the price!

Effortless and quick way to remove cat hair from stone floors and furniture
I have stone floors and five long-hair cats. There is hair floating on the floor every day. Using a pull motion, the broom easily catches it all to be rinsed off quickly in the laundry sink. The broom is immediately ready for the next use as the water does not cling to it and leaves it only a little damp. The hair clings to the rubber by static electricity. It also worked great to remove hair from the sofa and chairs. The broom's light weight requires little effort. The ability to attach a damp cloth is another great feature. I am very pleased.

Reviewed for Hard Floors only
I don't have carpeting in my house, but I have a black lab and a busy family with a lot of outdoor activities. I use this broom to sweep my kitchen tile floors and the rest of the house, which is hard wood. I've also utilized the push-throughs on top of the broom head to attached a damp towel to function as a damp mop. I give this a 3 star rating based on the below: Positives: It helps gather dust/dirt, grass, dog hair, crumbs, and even - yes, I'll go there - glitter I'm impressed by the collection ability, and being able to gather it all very closely without it flying everywhere It washes clean easily, and the conversion to a reusable mop is pretty clever and easy It has a squeegee side that REALLY came in handy during a recent basement flood, and for stuck-on dirt. Negatives: You must PULL this broom. It doesn't sweep like a traditional broom, and I've not been able to effectively push it as shown in the photos. That makes using it a lot of work. I like the effects, but feel like I get a workout just using it. Overall: I'll keep using it, am happy I got it, but wouldn't recommend without caveats.
