This kit worked like a dream. Fast and pretty much painless. Easy to use. I did end up needing to order a longer 12mm bar because the one that came with this was slightly too snug and started to cause irritation. Changing it fixed the irritation and it’s healing beautifully.

Great little gun I was so worried after reading the reviews that it wouldn't work but it was painless and easy watch a video on YouTube beforehand but other than that 5 stars

Easy to do

This purchase was to celebrate my weight loss. I got it Jan 3. My belly skin thickened from birthing a 9lb 22.5" monster kiddo lol The needle DID NOT slide through like butter, it took MUSCLE but still barely any pain. I was surprised at BOTH. It's because the skin thickened, didn't know. With that in mind...the loose belly skin meant I had to pierce more amount of skin or further in so that it doesn't sag. Cool, HOWEVER this ring is 10mm long. NOT LONG ENOUGH!! Consider getting a kit but getting another ring that is 14mm or 16mm long. The 10mm started creating sores because it was just too short, and just hurting all the time, and yes, even with the stopper. The wound had no room to breath. I just put in a 16mm today and ooh yea, so much better! I can even do a 14 and it would be perfect. Now, the kit arrived without a alcohol wipe and it fell apart as soon as I picked it up. I had to reassemble and use my own alcohol to disinfect. I've used both ring, so yes, you can change them out this soon if you feel comfortable. Value for the money? I'd say yes, if it came with everything. ALSO, I clean it with home made saline solution for cleaning and it works great. Found the recipe online. With a longer ring and saline solution, I'm loving it. One last thing, I did MY OWN research and found that I can still work out and do other things, even 48hrs after. I occasionally use a disinfectant wash but I saline 2x's a day. The reason some say don't even move after piercing is because risk of infection. Research for yourself, read what professionals and Dr.'s say and make your own decision. Hope this helps :)

I pierced it myself, it wasnt the smothest experience so i had to physically push the needle in hard, idk unless you can handle it dont get, i could bearly handle piecing as i dont normally do it, yh… i think thiers smoother options but this is good if u know what ur getting
