I bought this for my trip Oct 22 and finally used Nov 2. It was pouring raining in Osaka, Japan and was on my way to airport. It was in my luggage for 2 days. Took out to dry and found rusted. Another umbrella I bought and used same time did not rust.

I was looking for a small umbrella - once closed that would fit in my back pocket to carry while out jogging, etc. It's exactly what I was expecting.

Fits easily into small purses. Care needs to be taken when closing the umbrella, frame is delicate.

Used it for a recent trip in Europe and found it easy to fit in my wife's pocket book and elsewhere. Easy to collapse and get back in its compact zipper case.

The mechanism to open and shut this umbrella is sure to hurt your fingers. You will regret not having a degrees in mechanics. When open this umbrella collapses with so much as a hint of wind. If you are looking for an umbrella, do yourself a favor and keep scrolling. This one belongs in the trash.

Loved how compact it was while flying to baseball in Florida and only bringing a small luggage.
