I’ve seen mixed reviews on this product. So far, it works well for us. Our trashcan smelled horrendous and we couldn’t figure out why. Washed it out in the yard and let it air-dry, then stuck one of these to the lid and it was good as new. So far the holder has not fallen into the trash and the scent smells very good. Obviously the trash still smells like trash but the product helps a lot.

Kind of strange scent, but it does a good job of covering up odor in a doggy diaper pail of wet wraps. The plastic holder is kind of flimsy and I've had it pop open a couple times and drop the scent packet into the wet diapers.

You know when you purchase odor eliminator and they do not work? Well, that is NOT the case here! These little lemon (they have other fragrances) crystals were extremely odoriferous in a most delightfully pleasing way. In other words, they smell GREAT! I loved this so much that I bought a second one. And don't count me out...I may go back for more. I live in a very old house and it can get a bit musty. These really help. You will definitely enjoy them. (And they are a good value for the money.)

After reading the many reviews for the different products by this brand, I was excited to try a few different items. I thought the items were a little bit costly, especially for the amount of item received. But the reviews couldn't be wrong, correct? When I received the beads I did not use the included plastic holder for the little packets of scented beads. I took one package per dresser drawer, I also put one in the bottom of my bathroom. Garbage can – underneath the bag, of course – then I would put the rest of them in places around the house, where I wanted people to get a nice with of fresh air without it being overwhelming. Sadly, it was underwhelming. There was a strong fragrance, the first 72 hours as the beads were exposed to air, so that gave me a false sense of hope, after that, the smell got weaker and weaker, but it was not eliminating the odors I assumed it would. After all, this was supposed to be an item that helped eliminate odors not just cover them up. Especially when I used them in dresser drawers. Even after washing clothes used at the restaurant, there was still a restaurant smell. Even though my husband is the manager, you still bring the smell home with you. After washing everything thoroughly, I thought these little packets would help finish the job off, so he did not always smell like a restaurant . That was not the case. It smelled like I had sprayed his clothing with a strong air freshener that slowly were off, and the old smell reemerged. As for the rest of the house, it was a very similar thing, it smelled very strong the first few days, got weaker, but didn't do much else. Very similar to using an air freshener. I was not looking to eradicate, horrifically, strong odors, I was not looking for this item to do miracles, I was just hoping it would provide basic freshness and odor control of day-to-day life and living. I will give it three stars, because I like the packaging, and I believe if the advertisement is a tiny bit, more honest, and the price point was a little more realistic for what you get, this company could do better. But it looks like they do OK, even though there are reviews like mine. I'm just being honest though. I don't like spending that much money for items that from as the world and provide basically nothing.

I got this set for the case. It was a little weird having the Fresh Wave scented sachets in the car without being in a container. I don't think it stained anything since it always just stayed on a plastic section of the car. But yeah, I wanted the case as an extra layer of protection. And yes, the lemon scent is good!

So I considered returning this item, But was too lazy to create a return label and return it. This product is garbage. I could smell it for about 2-3 days top then nothing. This is just a gimmick. If you have guests for the day then totally you could put them out and you will smell them. As for a long lasting product this is not it.

I bought this 2 years ago, but I don’t think I ever got around to reviewing it. Let me tell you what brought me back around: I bought this 2 years ago, because besides diapers - and eventually pull ups - going in my room trash, there’s also food from when I eat in here. (No judging, thanks) And I have a can with a swing in & out, so it’s like a lot of “after air” wafting. (More like before, during & after but I digress.) I ordered this. The little pouch fit inside perfectly, and the holder stuck well. But after a couple of weeks I realized that not only was it not working, but it never had started working. And eventually it just unstuck on its own and dropped into the bag, but I didn’t care. Fast forward to about 1-2 months ago. I’m staring at one of my beautiful bookshelves full of books aka true love, and I see this black pouch on the shelf. I pick it up and wonder if this is what I had bought a while back, but I couldn’t remember because my memory stinks like gym socks. I decided to take 2 pouches out and put them directly inside the can ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE BAG. 2 in front, 2 in back. Overkill maybe, but I was desperate because my little timed fragrance spray thingy was clearly constructed by someone who hates me. I have not smelled that can from that very minute to right now, and it’s only 3 feet from my bed. So I’m going to re-order JUST the pouches.

We became cat owners in July, and a miasma arose from the (closed) garage trash can shortly thereafter. I began Seeking Answers. Experimenting with different litters helped the boxes but not the can. Putting charcoal in the bag, which worked well when the kids were in diapers, availed naught. By the end of September it smelled like a Superfund Site, and I was going through Lysol spray at alarming pace. I decided to try this Fresh Wave stuff because it's enough cheaper than a Litter Genie that I figured it was worth a shot before going that route. Boy am I glad I did. I attached it to the inside of the lid, where it has been mostly ignorable, and the difference it's made simply canNOT be exaggerated. Before it was unpleasant to be within ten feet of the can and opening it was an exercise in active gorge suppression. Now, there is a very very faint odor when the can is open, and when it's closed, very little is discernable beyond some of the Fresh Wave's own scent. It did take a couple of days to reach that point, but it's been holding steady since. I've only had it in there about ten days, so I can't yet comment on whether a packet of the stuff will last the advertised sixty days. If it falls much short of that, I'll update. Update, Day 26: I swapped in a new packet today, so it looks more like 30 days each, but given the givens, I'm well pleased. Update 01/09/23: The product is still working great, the little holder dealie ... not so much. It now pops open spontaneously within a few minutes, so I have to fasten it shut with something. I'm currently trying out a plain piece of wire. It's manageable, and this isn't a terribly expensive product so I'm willing to manage it, but it's something to be aware of.
