Good fit for the 2004 Honda Accord
You just need to trim back the old one carefully with a razor blade and apply a little adhesive along the way as you secure it to the cowl. I also picked up new rubber side covers that were worn (alibaba) and new clips to hold down the cowl to the glass better. Did it fix the pesky water??? Not quite, but it's an 04 Accord near end of life. The product did help divert the water where it's supposed to go but it's hard to not have ANY gaps without replacing the whole cowl with OEM. Again, it's an 04 Accord...not worth the expense. Had to MacGyver a way to get silicone sealant to the point of water entry a half arms length up from the right passenger footwear along the firewall and inner front quarter panel. A few re-slathers of silicone later and it's aaaalmost fixed...just in time for another leak to poke it's weary way through the fading skin of the trusty ole 04 Accord...

Fixed the rattle.
I was able to remove the old molding and slide this one into place. Fit is great and fits like I had hoped for. It took that rattle away that was caused by the original molding that had deteriorated. Highly recommend for a 2017 Sierra 1500.

Keep Your Distance... Or You'll Be Disappointed
Will NOT stay on cowling unless 'Glue' is utilized. Area that 'Slips' into cowling is too small. Once installed using glue, there are 'Lumps' that do not Seal to the windshield. Overall, poor quality and terrible 'Fitment'. Your better off, purchasing the Entire Cowling where this seal is attached upon arrival. More expensive, but better quality. Would NEVER recommend this item. Bj ~ Palestine, Texas

Great Product
This for my 92 Subaru Legacy perfectly. I'm always hesitant to get car items online especially when it comes to making sure water stays out. But I took a chance because it couldn't have been worse than what I had. If you looked at the old seal wrong it would crack more. But this slipped into place and has done it's job just as described.

The molding works for a 2017 Silverado cowl 👍
Good day! Everyone I recently purchased this cowl molding for my 2017 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD. If anybody owns this generation of truck they know that the molding on that cowl disintegrates within about 7 years time frame. This cowl is also notorious for fading also. If you own this generation of truck this molding will fit that cowl. I recommend going to AutoZone and purchasing the 3M black adhesive to keep it in place for a long term. It will fit on there but it may slip over time. Purchase the adhesive let it dry to 24 to 48 hours and you're good to go . Also I recommend for anybody else out there if you have problems with your cowl fading I recommend going on Amazon and purchasing the Penetrol linseed oil.. that will bring back the color of the plastic but you will have to let it dry for at least a couple of days before putting the cowl back on your vehicle. Do not apply the product unless you watch some YouTube videos so you'll understand how the whole process works. I highly recommend watching the videos before doing anything when using that product. All enclosed pictures below but again if you own a Silverado of that generation that I have, the molding will work and please use the adhesive to keep it in place long term. Hope this review helps someone out there.
