This Namouk massage gun looks very much like my existing massage gun which is my base level for comparison. My existing massager is generally twice the price of this particular unit. This unit is a tad smaller than the one I use. The handheld massage gun comes with six attachments which can be used to help relieve muscle stiffness and improve circulation when used safely. Comparing the accessories with this unit to the one I use, these definitely feel a little less substantial and appear to be smaller versions of the ones I’m used to. Having tried these I thought that for light work they’re okay. They’re mostly made of a shiny plastic which could be washed quite easily if needed, apart from the hard ball option. The unit is easily charged through a USB C connection port, a cable terminating in an old style USB plug is included, but there’s no charger which isn’t unusual. The main massage unit offers a display with buttons for increasing or decreasing the pressure. The clear, easily read display also gives an indication of battery level. There are 99 increments of pressure, and you can skip through the levels quite quickly. This is just as well, as for me as I needed to get to the high numbers pretty quickly as the lower numbers were just too weak for me. I should say that I do weight lifting at the gym, so I have quite well developed muscles and am used to higher pressure. However, I do have an injury point which requires special attention. As is common with massage devices of this type, there’s an auto shut off after a number of minutes of use. For new users this gun is probably just right, but the lower levels aren’t really doing much so you’re more likely to be running this at the high levels pretty quickly. The grip is fine, the attachments a little weak. The finish of the unit is matt black and feels okay in the hand. In short, handy to have around for some light relief, but clearly a budget model.
