It's funny that such an innocuous piece of "analog" equipment could improve one's game, but this one has! As a mediocre golfer, I more often than not, either don't keep score at all or give up half way through a game. This little tool has kept me "honest", so that I actually record my score ALL the time. This has translated into working much harder to improve at each game, since the results are so tangible.

I have to chase my ball so much I can never remember how many times I’ve hit. Simple and works well. Easily attached to golf bag and removable when playing.

Took it out to the course and it does the job. 1. As other users mentioned, there is no reset button. You have to cycle through the clicker past “9” to reach zero again for the next hole. It’s not too bad n not a deal breaker. Usually I hit pars, bogies and occasional double bogies. Just a few more clicks to get to zero after a joke is bearable. 2. One side of The clicker jammed/stuck and will not “bounce” up at the 12th hole. Kinda disappointed, but the clicker on the other end, “player 2” still work. But figured it was just physical contact/ friction. I lubricated the unit with some teflon spray once at home and the clicker is well lubed and clicks back up, and functioning again. Went ahead and lubed the second unit as well just as a precaution. Also, I figured WD40 or oil would work also but messier. Overall, I like using the counter and esp after the lube job. Let’s see how long it lasts. Only had a round with it. I would give it 5 Stars if not for the jammed clicker

My daughter uses them for golf, she has not had any problems with them. Works as stated. Easy to use. Good value for the money.

Works great for golf! I’m no professional golfer and I have a hard time remembering my strokes at the end of the hole. This helps me keep track and works great! I also like the chain it’s on and I can clip it to my shorts so I don’t have to carry it around.

I would never buy these again and do not recommend them. One of the first set of two I received didn't work, the spring mechanism to advance the counter was jammed. So I returned them to Amazon and got a second set. Literally one week after I can no longer return the second set, the spring mechanism to advance one of the counters jammed while I was on the course playing a round, so useless. So that's 2 out of 4 jammed in only 5 weeks. I bought a different set of counters where you use a dial to advance the counter. These counters jam easily and do not last long. DO NOT BUY!
