Bright enough to grow plants! Not as great as Barrina, but worth the price!

These are a great little grow lights. I bought them for my office. I have been propagating plants and bringing them in for other people to adopt, but we don’t always have natural light in all spaces of our office. After getting one of these the plants did so well that I now give them away with the plants. It’s fun to cultivate and watch others learn how to grow. I also like that these are freestanding and don’t take up much space. Would definitely recommend these!

I have had this light for a few months now and it's still throwing out a good amount of light.

OK – I’m taking credit for inventing this! I’ve been using my own homemade version of this vertical light for years (see photo). I was really excited when I saw a professional model available on Amazon. It looks so much better lighting up one of my houseplants than my cheap-o homemade version. I can finally retire my cardboard knock-offs. If you have tall plants or especially if you have a tabletop hydroponic garden, you NEED one or more of these vertical lights. Indoor plant lights are great at allowing you to keep plants all around your home instead of just in front of windows. But those lights provide only light to the top of the plants. For small plants, that’s sufficient. But for taller or specimen plants, the lower foliage doesn’t get sufficient light. See two photos of my gardenia plant: one with only the top light on, and the other with this vertical light also turned on. Notice how the lower foliage is now fully illuminated from this vertical light. This is especially important with tabletop hydroponic gardens – and is exactly why I built my homemade vertical lights in the first place. Those gardens are very densely planted. Once the plants begin to mature, the foliage at the top blocks all the light from reaching the lower growth. But you need that lower light to promote the flowering and fruiting of the garden plants you’re growing. These vertical lights are the perfect solution: just place one on each end of the garden, then move them around the perimeter of the garden once each day, so all the lower foliage has a chance to get some light over the week. This is a very simple light: it has only one spectrum (full), and it simply has an on/off switch. There is no ability to change light spectrums or to set a daily timer. But the full spectrum is perfect for side lighting, and I honestly never use the timer functions anyway. I do just turn all my plant lights on and off each day. But you can certainly add a separate timer to the light if needed. About my only complaint: it comes with a grounded (i.e., 3-prong) plug. Not sure why – it’s only an 11-watt light and it is indicated for dry indoor use only. So there’s really no need to have the extra grounding protection, but this then limits your ability to plug this into a simple extension cord. You need to plug it directly into a wall outlet, a power strip, or a grounded extension cord. Otherwise, I love this light. Since I’ve been using my own homemade version of vertical lights for years, it’s nice to see someone else has validated my idea.

Super bright, have it plugged into a wifi timer. I now have 4 of these and my plants are thriving! Has a pretty wide light width for being so thin. Wish they made it in white! Much brighter than any other plant light I've ever bought!

Product came in time and is excellent quality. It’s much more stable than the one I purchased at a local store for more than double the price. The light is also strong and will be excellent for my seedlings and spring starts for the garden.

My efforts to fertilize my mini orchid into re-flowering were not working. There were 5 buds but nothing I did helped them to open. However, within a few hours under this grow light some of the buds started to open. Then overnight, a few more buds started to open and by the end of the day, all of them were open.

I used mine (4 in total) on my counter and o start seeds and grow lettuce/herbs. They work well and can fit under the counter easily. Very happy with mine.
