Not as good as I had hoped..
I have all but a few of Jodi Thomas's books... I enjoy her books. But the Whispering Mountain series has left me thinking that Mrs. Thomas has run out of ideas and descriptive words. I know she refers to Tobin being molded from stone...chiseled from granite... hard as an oak... his eyes were like steel..Blah blah. and it's the same in the other two books about Travis and Teagan... They are all very tall.. very well built.. grumpy.. they don't talk much.. Its like reading the same book three times with a different setting here and there.. The women have no gumption.. they are weak and annoying.. No one can seem to come right out and have a conversation about how they feel, they just wonder in the story and second guess themselves and each other.. There was more romance with Liberty and Tobin. SPOLIER: You keep waiting for her finance to show up and put up a fight..but that does not happen. It seems like he would have been the one after Liberty's father but that was not so. I am not sorry I read the book and it is ok, just not what I was hoping for.. I am now reading Sage's story of her and Roak. They have been my favorite characters so far and I hope this book turns out better than the three before.. although.. Roak has grown into a tall.. hard.. solid rock man.. here we go again... whatever happened to the 5'8" guys that are a little thin or plump..Not every man has to be some comic book hero on steroids.

Can't put it down!
This book is a romantic drama. It is also very exciting and adventurous. As always, Jodi has a great ending. I have not watched TV for two days because I was reading this novel.

Strong,Silent and Yummie!
I enjoyed Texas Princess. When I purchased the book I was not certain I would enjoy it but have to admit it was good. Tobin was a sweet hero and Libby a bit spoiled but still likable. Whisper Mountain sounded wonderful and wouldn't it be wonderful if it really existed. All the brothers were to like and Sage. The young boy Drum, caught stealing horses I hope will come back in a later book as a love interest for Sage. It was an easy afternoon read . Darn sight better than television. I've read alot of Jodi Thomas' books and usually enjoy her writing.

Really enjoy the family novels
Really enjoy the family novels. Good story but just once I would like to see the "bad guy" get it early in the story. The Hero/ Heroine invariably have the bad guy early in the story and always let them off the hook, only to let him kill off other good guys before getting his in the end.
