This bed was extremely difficult to assemble , one of the main reasons we bought this was the in built tv stand so our teenager could watch tv in bed, it’s not suitable for tall teenagers, our teenagers feet where literally touching the pole at the end of the bed which fits the tv, turning over in bed means banging your feet on the pole, we needed to remove it as such paying extra for the tv stand was a total waste of money, it’s advertised as a standard size single bed, but that’s not accounting for the tv fitting which is on the inside of the base of the bed not the outside. The wood slats are thin and cheap we needed to reinforce them with solid planks of thick wood, waste of money quality’s isn’t great, cheap materials used, thin wood that fits in the middle with cheap plastic caps, I regret buying this and no I don’t recommend this if it’s for a teenager who is heavy or tall
