Fifth studio album by American rock band Thirty Second to Mars, 'AMERICA', originally released in April 2018. It is their first album in five years, after 2013's 'Love, Lust, Faith and Dreams'. Featuring singles 'Walk on Water', 'Dangerous Night', and 'Rescue Me', the album explores themes such as politics, sex and fame. Review: Different but brilliant - This album is not the same as mars previous music. It continues in the direction that was set in the guys previous record ‘Love, Lust, Faith + Dreams’, however this one has more of a dramatic turn. Most people who enjoyed the previous album will most likely find some enjoyment in this one as the themes are consistent with this one and the bands previous records. The new direction the band takes with the more electronic sound definitely suits them especially Jared letos voice. A nice surprise on the record happens to be ‘Remedy’ which happens to be one of the best song on the record along with ‘Love Is Madness’ which features Halsey. I reccomend this to any die-hard fans of mars as they will find much enjoyment with the record like I did, however for people who do not find themselves in the enjoyment of the poppy direction in which the band have previously been heading in then I would probably give this one a miss. Review: Classy 30 Seconds To Mars album!!! - 30 Seconds To Mars always brings lots of art to their craft of music. This album ain't different...lot of artistic vibes n real messages! THUMBS UP!!!

Great music.
As others have said, this is different but fantastic. I saw them play on the BBC at the Biggest Weekend having not heard this material and was really surprised there were no guitarists or rock ethos....but it didn't matter. These songs are fantastic and I love their adventure into more electronic sounding music. Shannon mixes acoustic and electric drums superbly. Jared's voice is superb. Some of the songs remind me of an almost Blade Runner 2049 type sound. "One Track Mind" is a great example. Some might not like the departure but great music is well, great music.

Different style but a grower !!
It's a very different sound but you can't criticise Jared for trying something a little different . I have to admit it's growing on me . Some really good tracks on here . Give it a chance . Reminds me of the last Linkin Park record , elements of Depeche Mode as well .

Another amazing album.
As a huge 30stm fan I was not disappointed by this new album, yes it might be different than the other music they have made but so what, Don't they say change is good and in my opinion it's a great album it may not be everyone's cup of tea but we all have our own opinions. My fave song has to be the one sung and wrote by Shannon .... Remedy I've been waiting patiently for this song for years finally we get to hear him (yes I'm a Shannon fan). This album lived up to my expectations I wasn't let done and would happily recommend to friends who weren't already 30stm fans.

Beyond Mars & onwards to Jupiter
Was not expecting a lot given so many negative reviews....now having listened to it a few times, it’s funny how bands get absolutely slated for not writing a record at this stage of their journey which doesn’t sound like their ‘roots’ material. Metallica/Pearl Jam /Linkin Park to name a few all had the same backlash yet all are legends now. This release feels fresh and powerful, yes there is different mixes of genre here but that’s no bad thing- I would say this compliments the new direction and gives the music an edge which appeals to the masses-yes, the masses, the holy grail of music and why not if the music holds its own . This band is going to the next stage of their career and may well be on their way to Mars - why play festivals when you can do Wembley stadium 3 nights running solo with a show which you control and not the local landowner/ festival promoter? You decide. For me, this is album of the year so far in 2018.

Totally Awesome CD
Personally I Love this CD, I’m a fan of the band and have all their albums, there’s something quite dark and sensual in the music and lyrics, playing it constantly in my car, Album covers are brilliant and rather informative. Remedy is sung by Shannon Leto it’s amazing with dare I say it a slight Oasis feel but I think Shannon should sing more great voice, and Jared, well he’s Jared after all ☺️👍🏻

CD ok. Musical style changed.
The CD arrived promptly and appears pristine. Half the plastic tabs holding the CD in place were broken/missing. For £4.44 I'm not going to complain too much. The music itself... the band has changed their style. The first 4 albums are edgy rock with attacking drums, guitars and vocals. This album is purely electronic pop with soft, shiny vocals. Not for me but all the best to them in the future.

Très bel album de 30 seconds to mars même s'il est très éloigné de leurs débuts... J'adore quand même 😍

Bel CD dove ancora una volta non i Thirty Secons To Mars non deludono per il loro sound. +++
