Hedeghog Cat Resistant Tunnel With Anti Bacteria Coating

I purchased this product at the same time as the hedgehog house made by the same company. A very well made product which will last years and years. Very impressed with both materials and craftsmanship of both products. One small niggle - The brackets they sent to connect the two units together I had to bend ( with tools ) into a different shape after a lot of thought to make sure it would work and to make sure the connection would be Predator proof. The reason given for badly shaped brackets was that they did not know which Hedgehog House I was going to use them with. Well - they were made by the same company, shipped by the same company and boxed up in the same box by the same company. The company being a farm that sells this type of product. So why the niggle - well it does not take much intelligence to work it out since they had made it, boxed it and shipped it !! A little thought would have gone a long way and would have saved me time and completely unnecessary effort. If you are able and don’t mind the effort I have no hesitation in recommending both parts of the Hedgehog House and the Extended entrance purchased here. To the company who made it I recommend that before sending the products out they look twice as to what is in the box. Brian. UK

Arrived quickly and I was able to perfectly attach this, using a few little brackets and screws I had lying around, to our hedgehog house. The entrance holes all seem to be a standard size so it matched up perfectly. We watched the footage on our wildlife camera of the neighbourhood cat trying to work out how to get in and steal the hedgehog food. It quickly gave up and gradually stopped coming, leaving all the food for the hedgehogs :-) UPDATE: One of the neighbours cats has now managed to get in (with great difficulty, as seen on our wildlife camera!) - so I've now ordered another one if these tunnels to attach to the existing one. There's no way the cat will get in via 2 tunnels. Great product.

Very good ,well constructed and sturdy but ,especially after this year, could do with a felt roof,I've put one on ours.

I originally bought this for my hedgehog house but I've put it on the feeding station to keep the cats out.

Some of the skinnier local cats were getting in and reaching the food so I needed to extend the entrance. A fox got his head in once as well so this add-on was a must! You can see it as it arrived, and then once I’d attached it. All good quality and easy to do. No cats have got in now!

Tunnel fitted over opening to hedgehogs house. Not completely cat resistant unfortunately. Dishes of food pulled out camera picked up a very persistent cat.

Solved the problem of a cat sneaking in to eat the hedgehogs food!

Very well constructed just like the hedgehog house. Hedgehog went straight in but was a bit timid to go all the way into the house. Once I moved tunnel he/she went straight into house. I’m sure with time the hedgehog will get used to the longer tunnel into house.
