High quality plus with sturdy hardware to make the electrical connections. Does not look like those clumsy, bulky replacements you generally see. My application was for a powered awning I needed to remove 15 feet of cord from. The plug would be in plain view under the soffit so I wanted it not to stick out. The small hole the cord enters the plug was just a bit larger. I used the same color of silicone sealer to make it water resistant.

Product was easy to install and replaced a plug that broke. It is a good value for the two we got.

These are difficult to install, but when you do it right they are durable and the cord looks like it came that way from the factory.

Although some reviewers found fault with the product, I found it worked well. It was a bit difficult to get all the wires connected, but once they were and the plug re-assembled, it was a solid product, Better instructions would have been helpful, especially if the person was not familiar with wiring.

These are held together with a thought and a prayer, and has difficult to use little steel screws. Yes, zinc plated steel, not aluminum like some reviews say. They seem to work okay with 16ga or lighter wire, not 14ga like the description promises. You need to have the wires and the wire jacket stripped to the perfect lengths.

Works great. Different installation set up so I had to read instructions. But seems like it will keep the wire connected. I like it.
