Good material, works good, good quality of material and sound, easy to use, no connectivity problems.

I just got an old car and needed a way to listen to podcasts on drives so I got this and it was easy to set up and I was good to go in just a couple minutes. Compared to a FM transmitter I had back in the day, this one works much better and it’s not even ugly. I think part of the reason it seems to work better is because fewer people are using them so there’s less potential interference out there.

My boyfriend introduced me to these Bluetooth transmitters. We now have 3 (one for each car). That’s how much we would recommend these :). Easy to use and work, the charging ports are very accessible and work. The signal strength is great and can be changed if needed, the sound quality is also great but really depends on your speakers and sound system so do keep that in mind.

Scosche's chat support informed me that there's a known issue with the new Apple radio chips in the iPhone 16e (and probably 17e and Air) not automatically reconnecting. I have to go into the phone settings every time. He offered an exchange through them once they receive shipments with updated firmware. Great US support, makes me want to support this company (even if none of their offerings seem perfect for my situation). Some other FM transmitters also seem to have this same problem (not my old one, but the mic failed) Honestly seems like a great little device--no multicolor LEDs that are way too garish, pleasant beeps instead of a weird voice. I like that it has an Aux out. I do wish I could disable FM transmission while using it (to reduce interference if I want to listen to a nearby FM frequency). My particular car puts the 12V port in a tight corner--this is a little big and doesn't seat all the way, but it seems to work okay turned diagonally. (There's a more open one, but it's right above cupholders.) Also would be nice if it could transmit on 87.7-87.9 (which some radios will tune to)

Works great and does as advertised, easy to set up and use, and you get to keep your charging ports.

Haven't tried while driving, but during initial testing while parked: . Could not change FM channel, but after reading reviews it appears you can't adjust when you're plugged into the aux port. I don't plan to use the FM feature so I can't comment on interference issues. . Volume through FM is a littler louder than the aux port connection. In reviews I've read you can adjust volume by holding down the track control knob, but I guess not on this model BTFreq Pro. Aux port volume is about the same as FM stations though. . The voltage display is pretty useless since it only appears at startup. Scosche should give you the option to keep the voltage display constant, especially when you're connected through the auxiliary port. . I just wanted something simple with a minimal display, while there are some similarly priced products with more features the displays are rather garish and it's disconcerting reading of them blowing fuses. I haven't seen any complaints about blowing fuses with these BTFreqs, and Scosche is an established company so I'm sure the product support will be better if I ever run into issues.

I have been looking for a not so flashy bluetooth transmitter for my older chevy. I don’t have an aux port, a broken DVD player and a radio that works when it wants to. All my channels are always static. I have looked all over for a non flashy one, and this? Stood out to me immediately. Looks great and minimalistic, no flashy RGB and rainbow galore, and sounds amazing. Volume control is great, connects quickly, and no latency at all. I will be buying another for my truck aswell. Worth every penny.

The main selling point for this product is the Bluetooth connectivity. Pairing is quick and easy, and the transmitted audio is flawless to my ears. 5 stars for that. That being said, I was really hoping to use this with my old iPod, because I still like having a dedicated music device, especially in remote areas with spotty service. While on a frequency that should be good, I plug the AUX cord in and all I get is a boosted signal from a distant radio station. This is the case for most "blank" frequencies, but I did find a couple that worked OK, but even then the audio was very weak and muffled, like all the treble was cut out. As others have mentioned, channel selection is locked once you plug in an AUX cord. If the connection worked as expected this would be a non-issue, but if you have to search the entire FM band for the right frequency, unplugging and re-plugging for every attempt is extremely tedious and simply not worth the effort. 1 star for that. No comments on making or receiving phone calls, but I'm sure it does the job.
