Nice little speaker.

I tested the play time of the full charge of the brand new player by listening to a audio book. The players lost the charge after 28 hours 49 minutes 51 seconds of playtime on maximum volume. This is quite impressive. One issue is that the max volume of this player is slightly lower than the other players I have. My impression is that the max volume of this player is about 85% of the max volume of one of the other players that I have tested. This is not a huge reduction, but it might be a deal breaker for some users. The biggest issue with this player is that its Bluetooth connection range is quite short. The player works fine within 15 feet of the connected source when the source is in plain view, has some occasional interruptions when the distance from the source is 15-30 feet, and losses the connection entirely when the distance is more than 30 feet. Inside a building this distances are even smaller.

I recently had the opposite experience of Salina E who posted about the charge life on her speaker. I'm thinking either hers wasn't fully charged to begin with? Maybe she didnt shut off the power when it wasn't in use? Or maybe it was just an isolated lemon? I brought my mini bluetooth speaker to the hospital ICU recently where my boyfriend is at for the past 2+ weeks. He does DJ gig work on the side and absolutely LOVES music. Since he was in serious condition, i figured i'd play some music every day I was visiting to help him in his healing. So I would pair this bluetooth speaker to my cell phone which was quite easy, and I'd use my SiriusXM app and play him music for anywhere from 4 to 8 hrs a day. I have several other mini Bluetooth speakers at my desk in my office too, and the charge on those last a few days at best? But THIS speaker? Wow. Every day I connected it to my phone, it still said it had a 100% charge! And it didn't drop down to 90% until maybe 5 days later of daily use? Compared to my experience with other mini bluetooth speakers, I really was astonished! For this price, I'm thinking of buying another one as a backup.

I needed a new speaker for my office. I stream music all day at work and the speaker I had previously (from a gift exchange) was too loud on the lowest volume setting on my Iphone and did not have its own volume control -- this one does. It paired perfectly with my phone and I can get the volume just right. I'm not overly concerned about the sound quality for my use, only that I can hear my music. This speaker sounds find to me and you can't beat the price. Very pleased. I don't use it for phone calls, so I cannot comment on that feature.

I bought this speaker to use in my car because my car doesn't have a working audio system and I like listening to podcasts and audio books while driving. This little speaker turned out to be perfect for that; it's loud enough to easily be heard over road noise even with the windows down, and small enough to fit in a cup holder while is use. The volume can be adjusted using my phone, and it auto connects to my phone as soon as I turn it on. The battery life is surprisingly good as well for it being only 1200mAh, but if I need more juice I can use it while connected via USB to the cigarette lighter USB port. I can't speak to how well it would be for music, as I don't use it for that, but for my needs this little thing is perfect. You can't go wrong for the price.
