Buenísima introducción a la estadística de Bayes, sobre todo por la imparcialidad de Chivers para explicar el tema, ya que no es un seguidor empedernido del culto Bayesiano (como Clayton). Aunque (casi) todo se puede analizar desde el punto de vista de la probabilidad subjetiva, el mismo autor reconoce que para resolver los problemas graves de la ciencia actual se requiere mucho más que una guerra de frecuentistas vs. Bayesianos.

The book becomes very repetitive from the middle. It is well written but it lacks formulas and an exemple saying this is the anslysis if you are "frequentist" and this is the anslysis of the same problem if you follow Bayes.

Explores how much of the world can be understood through probability and statistics. It shows that randomness often hides deeper patterns rather than true chaos. Chivers blends real cases, psychology, and data science with clear storytelling. A smart read for anyone interested in uncertainty, prediction, and rational thinking.
