This is the best lime scale remover I have ever used. The texture of it means it sticks to the sides of the bowl instead of just slipping straight down into the water. I know that a lot of people like the smell of bleach in their bathroom, but I am not one of those people. This product actually smells wonderful and is not overpowering like many other toilet cleaners can be. It blasts through limescale like dynamite and usually clears it all in one application, although extreme cases may require a double application. My new home is in a hardwater area and the previous occupant was disabled, so as you can imagine, the toilet bowl looked like a miniature version of the grand canyon. This stuff worked in no time with nearly no scrubbing required. I always keep a bottle in for monthly maintenance applications so that it never gets that bad again.

I was sceptical about the reviews of this product but due to the price I thought I would give it a go. I live in a hard water area and there was lime scale in the u bend that was hard to get off. Tried this stuff and left for a few hours and ‘Hey presto’ it is gone. There was a small bit left but this came away with a bit of rubbing. Not a bad smell and good thickness so it clings. Very impressive stuff and a good price.

This has got its work cut out on my ancient but still functioning loo. I have tried many products to keep the limescale under control, and other products that have worked their magic on the sink and shower have failed the poor lavvy miserably. I thought I had absolutely nothing to lose by trying this Domestos, especially as it was at such a good price. To my amazement it is beginning to work and the limescale that has been building up for longer than I care to remember tackling it is beginning to shift. I leave it overnight (or until I have to get up at 3 am...), give it a scrub with the loo brush and gradually it's beginning to look good. I'm impressed enough to have bought 2 more bottles as a way of looking to the future. A good product that, hopefully, I will only have to use to keep the limescale under control rather than every day.

Bought this on a whim for a toilet I was convinced would be easier to replace than to clear out the buildup. I dumped a fairly liberal amount into the bowl and left it overnight. It worked fantastically, all flaked away with very little resistance using a silicone toilet brush first thing in the morning. Super easy to use, no elbow grease required. In the end I was that chuffed I even sent a picture of the sparkling clean throne to my mum. Mum was impressed. 10/10

I didn't expect the result will be amazing. The limescale in the bowl is fading away little by little on each application. It's easy to use like regular liquid on the market. Wear safety gadgets while using it. After 2 months of regular usage, water stain was completely gone.

I used it only once to remove scales inside the toilet bowl. I have yet to see satisfactory result. I must repeat the application a few more times to see the response.

This is the most potent cleaner for very tough limescale on your toilets but don't expect it to work wonders in the first go ...you have to use multiple times ...in a interval of 30-60 mins this for the very tough ones on which nothing works.

This does not clean hardwater / limescale stains from toilet bowl as advertised. Unsatisfactory result. Also got fooled by the similar reading name from another popular brand
